I don’t know how you can sit and act as if hes contributing to the team, theres not been any clear signs of progression with him in pre-season either and it’s worrying. Do u actually watch the game of do u just watch who ever is on the ball? I suggest just watching werners movement and runs etc etc and just watch the space he creates and the players he pulls out of position. Sure, the goals were lacking but the assists weren't. He often moves the defence and is non stop. Today was not a good day. I dont ever remember his first touch being as bad as it was today. I hope he gets it together because he could really be good for Lukaku. Pulisic would be the one to put him on the bench if Puli plays better link up with Lukaku. Granted Palace were useless, but I thought Kovacic and Jorginho absolutely bossed it in the middle of the park. Mount looked sharp as usual, Timo hard working, Pulisic back to goal scoring. And Havertz had an electric cameo too. Should have added a 4th. But good that we scored 3, given Uniteds fantastic start.
