One result changes the whole feeling around the team. Awful performance for the most part and we literally gifted Arsenal the win.

Massive double header against Leicester now.

The FA Cup pails next to the importance of the league game now!

let the hating begin

but

IF we

finish 5th or worse

blow the FA Cup

blow the CL final

I am quite likely on the verge of being Tuchel out

way too many fuck ups versus shit sides or only decent sides (like Leicester who are classic bottlers other than that title year, and to lose to them twice at end of season, and one of them for a trophy is FUCKED) if we blow all three

This was not our best starting XI, but I understand why we rested a few players.

There were fairly poor performances everywhere. Yes, Jorginho made a costly mistake, which allowed arsenal to move to a super low block which reduces spaces for our pacy attackers. However, we had plenty of time to turn it around.

Thought Giroud and Alonso should have started the second half, but a lot easier in hindsight (and still no guarantees).

We are competing in too many fronts. There is a cost for that, but I still rather be in our situation than Arsenal's (or Liverpool) who are just thinking PL.

Alonso should have played 100%. Chilwell doesn't run in behind unless he is forced too and offers zero attacking threat in the opposition box. I was kind of shocked he started as I thought Alonso would play this one and then Chilwell play both of the Leicester games.

I don’t care if we fail to buy anyone else this summer, for the love of god we better pay whatever it fucking takes to sign a world class striker. As the commentator mentioned during this game our highest scorer has 6 league goals. We also have the highest number of chances created in the league. So we have all the players to load the gun and nobody to fire it.

Watching us too many times is like seeing someone smacking a brick wall with a hammer. Pound and pound it with zero piercing finish.

Whatever happens here on in, a number of this team should be playing for thier future at the club next sesson. Too many have been very average or even regressed.

You see players like CHO play like that tonight and its easy to start giving up hope on them making it here. He looked like a fecking division one player.

Havertz

jorginho

zouma

at fault for this. In that order

no way

Jorginho at the top of that list, he was fucking shambolic

and fuck off Tuchel by poor line-up and bench

Mendy would have kicked that backass away

and Giroud should have started

Tuchel doesn't use him enough

Some big if's there. Everything is in our hands. Leicester are a good side but they've been struggling for a while now and only just got past United's reserves last night. You'd think we were playing City and United the last two league games. Leicester and Villa are both winnable, and it also requires the teams below to win all their games too which isn't a foregone conclusion.

We win both cup finals and he'd deserve a statue for the turnaround in our season.

After that load of cack, if we blow top four as well, then his job might very well be on the line.

He took Arsendl too lightly and put more importance on the Cup than a CL place. Just  inexcusable from such an experienced manager!

Remember, he's only on an 18 month contract as well, so things are now very dodgy for him.

Eh what? What do you mean? Team selection? Approach to the game? This makes no sense either way.

If its team selection, arguably 7 of the guys who started tonight would be in with a shout of starting the cup finals so quite honestly, your talking nonsense if you mean the starting 11. From tonight: James, Chilwell, Azpi, Thiago Silva, Mount, Jorginho, then one of Havertz/Pulisic, who have all been prominent with Tuchel.

Performance we didnt exactly sit off them for 90 minutes or let them have the ball either. So what do you mean took them too lightly?

Lets be honest either way, people remember cup and trophy wins more than finishing 4th in the PL regardless also so if he had prioritised the weekend then fine but would severely disagree that he’s prioritised it on the basis of that starting 11 tonight. Some changes yes but necessary because we have played every 3 days for god knows how long now and also have 4 other games in 2 weeks.

Also lets forget the whole reaction last season when we limped to top 4 on the last day as if it was a major achievement despite having a 12 point gap and sitting 3rd for a period months back. The overreaction is huge. If we win both cup finals and don’t get top 4 nobody will give a fuck. If we get top 4 and dont win the cup finals people will care more about the cup finals.

Odoi performance was indeed unacceptable. A lot players disappointed Tuchel today and will have a hard time getting minutes.

However, we are not taking into account the lineup change in itself. It causes disarray esp in a well oiled machine that we appear to be.

Our 2 best players did not play tho, so there is that.

That insane passing game infront of our goalkeeper must stop.
What the heck do we gain from it ?
How many goals have we given like that ? Was it today only ? What about WBA early in the season when we went 3 goals down ? And others.

Arsenal have completed their first Premier League double over Chelsea since the 2003-04 season. This was their first league win at Stamford Bridge since October 2011, ending an eight-game winless run there (D2 L6).

Booooo

If we want to challenge for the title properly next season then we need another midfielder. Our squad depth in midfield is not good enough.

Also we need to be able to change from a back 3 formation to a back 4 formation quickly. It's looking very hard for us to create chances when we're a goal down with the current formation. We need another formation to be flexible, and use it when we need a goal. We can't just rely on this system alone.

if pool beat manure and we lose to leister in the epl

our top 4 hopes are hanging by a thread

if that happens top 4 is gone. No way Liverpool choke vs the beach sides in the last 3 games. Top 4 will be decided midweek next week I think.
