Our LB or LWB position is covered awfully, must be said. One may be solid offensively but fails in other departments, the other fails almost completely. Apart from that one nice period under Lampard, Chilwell has been nothing special. At all. And for that money? You get Maguire vibes.

Oh, and then there is the third one. And TT always uses all 3 in the match squad. So pointless.

He was playing RW.

But I still question his decision to restore Pulisic to the starting 11 without merit. It felt like he was reacting to all the negative articles in the press about Pulisic.

He was playing as a RWB but super high up the field in a hybrid back 3/4 system today.

The bar isn't very high but at least Pulisic looked lively for a change today, for the first time this season!

We were not horrible today. I am going to find the positive and enjoy the weekend. Maybe we needed this result to have the players laser focused in training and very hungry against Atletico.

Our win vs Atletico also came off the back of our 1-1 at Southampton. I am confident we can hold out vs Atletico. They looked absolute garbage every time i saw him this season. Spanish football is quickly going down the drain.

Chilwell v poor today. Has to do better as said previously after v United. Dont see why we played a back 4, the back 3 was working, lot of work to be done still today was a big chance to get 6 points over West Ham and leapfrog Leicester. Disappointed but was glad to see no Werner today and Pulisic given a chance from the beginning. Atletico next.

Was he rested for Atletico or was he dropped?

The ironic thing is we could have done with him in the frontline - or Pulisic there and someone else at RWB - because that front 3 of Mount, Havertz and Ziyech wasn't much of a threat. Havertz had 3 chances and missed them all while Mount and Ziyech did nothing to threaten Leeds. We had no runners off the ball to stretch them apart from Pulisic and at times, Havertz. Given Leeds' open football style, this was the ideal game to just start Werner and then leave him out against Atletico.

I think hes probably rested him.

I agree, I thought he would of played due to Leeds playing style and maybe Havertz performance v Everton also meant he had to start in some capacity. Plus Mount is virtually undroppable at the moment and deservedly so I would say. But its also time that Pulisic got a chance from the start.

I hope we go back to the back 3 v Atletico though, going to a back 4 was odd today.

Havertz is an average player in the PL. I still do not understand why we splashed 80 millions on him.

I guess apart from Mendy and Silva, not everyone is happy with our other signings. 🤣

Glad I missed this as had to help a mate out at his garage.

Sounds like the same old problem just not able to finish anything... and possibly a little too defensive in formation?

No.., it started out a bit more attacking today.

But for some reason he decided to go a bit more defensive late in the second half by bringing on another defender in James on. Then we lost all impetus, and ironically conceded more chances to Leeds in the process.

Poor performance on an even worse pitch, against a team who can either score 4 or let 4 in.

I'm not gutted about the result but it once again proves we now need a world class number 9 who is a fucking horrible nasty bastard.

The experiment of Pulisic at RWB is wrong on so many levels. It need to be Recce James, as for Chilwell he needs smelling salts he was horrific today.

Tuchel is bordering Tinkerman territory now. All these wholesale changes between games was bound to catch up with the team. Was it necessary to rejig the entire attack? Callum was superb vs Everton and probably should have featured.

Games have come thick and fast, he has to utilize the squad or they will tire out/injuries etc. Plus he is testing them........we will be fine.

Deserved no more than a point today in what was yet another borefest under TT.

Only positives are Rudi and Christensen, who are looking like a proper pairing. I thought Rudi was totally shot, so its great to be proven very wrong. Indeed, in my opinion he's playing better than ever now. Actually good to see Christensen make a mistake and then not let him bother him and ho onto have another fine game. Mendy did well, but the rest were dogshit.
