Thanks a lot. I hope Tuchel absolutely kills him because he killed our chances.

last season may have been world class but this year mistakes keep on coming

Sick of him if I am honest

No where near Kepa. Never was.

Playing with the ball at his feet is an obvious weakness which we have seen for time and needs work on, but probably something that is hard to coach a player. If they are just not technically gifted, then yeah but saying that there are goalkeepers that have improved with ball at their feet. Another concern is his hesitation in coming out of goal. He is rooted way to deep and the goalkeepers at the best club now regularly come of their line to clear a ball. He puts us in danger way too much. Top keeper but yes a lot of work needs to be done with the way we are looking to play. Because the ability to play out from the back is key to majority of top teams now. Arsenal having Ramsdale has improved them big time, City with Ederson is obvious.

It happens even to the best goalies. Manuel Neuer had quite a few very costly errors vs Real madrid and Liverpool in the last 5 years in the CL as well.

the timing could not have been more unfortunate ofc. He has never been good with his feet but been decent enough for 90% of games. Now he has had his confidence shot maybe so that percentage goes down a bit. I do not see him improving this, given he is 30. But it also means we should keep our eyes open for a long term successor in the coming years if we want to continue playing a system that plays out from the back.

I think it's beyond an error where Mendy is concerned. His ability with the ball is atrocious, and he's keen to hold onto the ball for far too long.

Whether we like it or not, we have to take the good with the bad.

Send this cunt to spec savers! like watching stevie wonder in-between the sticks.

Harsh words for player who was least guilty today.
I would maybe understand if you said this for Mount or Havertz. Or Azpli or Jorginho...

He is not on level from before, but we have way bigger problems from  GK

Send them all to spec savers! Is this a football club or a cattery? Because all I see is a bunch of pussy!

For the bad goal he did give up against Leicester, he saved a bunch. There were at least two or three chances Leicester had afterwards that should have been goals that he stopped.

I don't think he is to blame for the first goal against Southampton today either.

I understand blame is being throw everywhere at this point, and no, he hasn't been great, but he isn't the problem. He has absolutely no support from his outfield players at the moment.

Was watching the behind the scenes training footage on Chelsea official YouTube, in the training session it showed the punching drills for corners. He's actually very good at it not under pressure lol.

He lacks some agility to compensate for his size, but we all knew this from very first day. Can't really blame him today, as first he was effed up by our own defenders in some crazy judo shitshow and second time by our very own Jorghi. At least he was sober enough to play 10x more dead than he actually was when kicked by Bowen.

However due to way we defend (or play in general), fans who are easy to sink players in shit and mistakes he made I'm afraid he is going the very same road to loosing any confidence that Kepa did.

Will be interesting to see if we overpay Mendy with the new contract.  It's quite obvious that his biggest weaknesses are:

- Rushing out of goal

- Poor with the ball at his feet (can't deal with any sort of pressure)

- His general command of the defense in set piece situations
