I think Flo was only at the club for a few months with Hasselbaink. That would have been the days where there wasn't a set transfer window, I'm pretty sure he moved mid season.

The partnership that clicked in that time was Gudjohnsen and Hasselbaink.

Wow, absolutely gutted that he had to hear that today, shambolic from that person whom I wouldn't even call a fan in quotes. 

 

Talk about debbie downer on a really positive day for the club, 5k fans inside, Tuchel addressing the fans for 5 minutes on the mic, Romelu etc.

Someone said get Werner out of the club at the open session today, they had a microphone. 

Lets be honest though, its not as if people haven’t been coming on here or social media and posting get player X, Y or Z out of the club (I am sure Ziyech was the most recent one on here after Hakimi went to PSG because Ziyech apparently told him he didnt like it here - which wasn’t even an actual rumour just arms and legs added onto the fact he was unsure if he was part of Tuchel’s plans) or events like the opinions of a percentage of fans that Eden, Cesc, Costa got Jose sacked back in that piss poor season where we had a title defence. Werners an elite sportsmans though, whilst it’s questionable if it should happen at an open session, I am sure it wont affect him. If he gets affected by one idiot with a microphone at an open session when hes played infront of biggish crowds and at high level games for the best part of his career, I would be concerned about him.

He is getting progressively worse by the game and his best attribute now is when he is off the ball....

He'll probably be aware of the incident now it's across social media and the daily rags but I think he'll be far more likely warmed by fans showing their support for him and running that idiot out the stadium.

He's already said how great a feeling it is having his own song as they don't have that in Germany.

I'd be very surprised if this had a negative effect and impact on him.

But the problem is that when we have the chance to sell we don't do it because we want to give another opportunity. 

I remember after 2012 CL triumph we could have sold Torres but we kept him to give him another opportunity....

This summer we could have easily gotten rid of Werner but we kept him to give him another opportunity.....

Remember when he was going to be undroppable under Tuchel even with Lukaku? 🤣🤣🤣

Honestly, we may only be 3 games in to the season but if Mount and Kai stay fit he will be struggling to get in. I would say Mount, Rom and Kai will be first choice barring injuries. 

Also factor in if Ziyech comes back firing also he adds another interesting proposition to challenge the two of the front three playing off Rom.

There is lots of talk he will go back to Germany in the summer with Nagelsmann wanting him at Bayern apparently. If they offer more than what we paid, for someone who cannot get into the starting 11, be daft not to take it. I really think the links to Sane and Coman weren’t by chance, more so now the talk of Bayern and Nagelsmann wanting Werner.

Bayern will surely try to lowball us at first but if Nagelsmann really wants him they will pay up. His constant misses don't help his market value tho. What I find most worrying is that on one hand he pretends the misses don't faze him in his post-match interview (when they clearly do harm his confidence)  but on the other hand when he eventually does score it by no means solves his confidence issue,  he just  goes on to miss another sitter minutes later. Most strikers i have followed before would beat themselves up over misses but once they got the monkey off their back they would go on a spree.

He really could be beyond repair at our club. What is interesting is that Morata and Torres only started misfiring this badly playing for us and continued to do so after they left but it was less of a problem as they played in an altered role for (slightly) smaller, less prestigious clubs. I could see Werner going the same path.

If he doesn't sort it out this season, Bayern wanting him might be a good thing. If he does come good, he is not going to want to leave.
