We usually lose the CS (last win in 2009) and also usually lose vs City so no high hopes really but I got know idea how far City are in their preperations so maybe we are further ahead. Also do we have Hazard back?

 

No the Belgians and the Frenchies will not be back by then so I expect we will play exactly like we did vs Arsenal

Sarri said(in press conference after Arsenal)  he'd talk with Hazard/Willian/Courtois for the first time on Saturday (face to face). 

Doubt they'll play against City.

Kante and Hazard aren't back yet.  Bats returned early, to London, but I don't think any of those 3 actually join up with the squad until Saturday.  Same goes for T-Bo, and the chances of getting a new keeper by Sunday is slim.

Why should we play Willian or Tibo? Pedro has been training since the start. 

And Kante/Hazard are not back yet. 

I agree it would be a prep match against a better team which I dont see winning.

Probably see the same stating eleven as against Gunners. Willian maybe comes into the side, but hopefully not at the expanse of Hudson-Odoi. I'm a bit unsure about Christensen as he is prone to make a major clanger almost every game so I'd favour Luiz to start. Also all this negativity from some guys on here about us losing by a big score is daft. Lets not base this match on how they spanked us last season. We have some pretty good ballers on our team and given the right tactics we can trouble them. Both sides playing the same style should make for a highly entertaining match.

Will be very interesting to see how we cope against another side who loves to dominate the ball. Arsenal play that way and we dominated them in that first half. City will be without KDB so it's not as big of a test as it normally would be but there will still be a decent City team out there tomorrow.

Also something else to keep an eye on is how long Jorginho plays here. Sarri has played him a ton so far in preseason in order to help the rest of the team adjust to his tactics. With the last preseason match against Lyon just a couple of days after this one, I wonder if he even plays on Tuesday. Surely we shouldn't risk that? Seems really dumb to have another game after the CS.

Oh and btw Mahrez v Alonso should be fun...🙃🙃🙃
