Difficult to find that balance considering our pressing was poor and also the fullbacks and centre backs were exposed when we had players running behind a lot but it is vital to Sarris idea of playing too so its confusing. I think sacking him now would be harsh in all fairness, obviously some people arent keen still but I would say showing up 3 weeks after pre season started, getting 3rd place, a cup and the fact we played the Carabao Cup final too as well as the Community Shield (although due to previous seasons FA cup win) is right enough despite the bumps along the road and after tonight, he will be eager to win more. First trophy for a manager or player is always the one that gives that taste of winning so if he does stay, lets hope we can be more competitive and improve against the big teams especially as thats where we need to do better to challenge. Changes needed personnel wise perhaps and the ban isnt great for that but still optimistic he could get another season at least if he wants it considering Juventus have him in their sights. If they agree a deal with the club though and he feels like he wants to go because perhaps its never been "right" here so to speak, okay cant blame him. He has won more in 1 year here than Klopp and Pochettino did in their first few seasons at Liverpool (although one of them will win on Saturday sadly). Personally think, out of appreciation for how good a manager Pochettino is and nothing else, them cunts winning it would be bittersweet but more bearable than the scousers if they did, the cunts who celebrated finishing 2nd with 97 points as if it is magical even though they fucked a 7 point lead at the top months ago. Plus Poch would probably leave and Spurs wouldnt be anywhere near as good without him 🤣

Jase 43,479
Have criticized him a lot this season but fair play to him today. Won us the final by going to the Arsenal dressing room for his HT team talk. Sideshow Luiz and Laylabelle

Either way glad he got a medal and managed to win something with us in the end after coming close with stupid goalie drama in the carling Cup. See what's decided now. Still reckon keep and see what can be done now. Haven't been much impressed but seems daft to go but at same time if can't buy maybe doesn't feel can change anything Fulham Broadway

Just like the possibility of hiring Lampard feels like a PR move, sacking Sarri now would be bad for PR as well (although we have sacked managers just weeks/months after they won a trophy before). So as you said, it might come down to whether he wants to go to Juventus. My main issue, if he does stay, is the transfer ban potentially sticking. Today is apparently the last day to appeal to CAS and we haven't heard anything about it. If we can't sign any players that would suit Sarri's style, then does that mean we are in for more tedious football next season? Are we going to see all the struggles, inconsistencies from this season again in 2019/20? Can he develop and integrate the young players into the team next season? Based on this season, I'm not entirely convinced because he only seemed to really use CHO and Loftus-Cheek after all the calls from fans and media started and there's also the fact that he was sending mixed messages over CHO after the Bayern interest came in. Am fine with (another?) transition season in 2019/20 if he develops the younger players, make us play better and more consistent, show progress with the team but am just not all that convinced.
