Miguelito 459
A good shot.I actually think he is pretty poor at shooting. Obviously scored two goals and had nice volley yesterday, but he's been very poor at shooting this season. LDN Blue

Obviously delighted he's got those goals, but he's still quite bad a shooting  Miguelito

It's too big 625
I wonder if there's another Marcelo out there. That is the kind of LB we need. Pace, power, shooting ability, can cross, and solid defensively. Mceachran, Supermonkey92 and !Hazard!

He has improved immensely his defensive abilities and he has absolutely nothing to be ashamed of about it nowadays. So yeah, he IS solid defensively. Might not be an Azpili, but definitely solid enough. Namika
Popular Post! BlueLyon 9,359 Posted January 17, 2017 Popular Post! Share Posted January 17, 2017 I watched Atletico again the other day and honestly Mourinho or the board has to be biggest idiot to sell Luis. I get why we sold Kdb, but I will not understand sale of Luis after just one season when it was clear as day Iva is getting old. That guy can defend like Azpi and attacks better than 90% of wingers, while running 90 mins like crazy. If he aint top 3 fullbacks in world, I dont know who is. jernej93, nachikethas, Unionjack and 3 others

Magic Lamps 11,692
Back to normal I guess. Lucky to not get a pen awarded against him. The thing about him is that he is neither particularly good on the ball in tight spaces because of his lack of pace and mobility and not a reliable tackler or marker either. Also for his height he is rather weak aerially and physically. What, however, he does bring to the table is his relentless running taking up positions everywhere on the left side of the pitch. That offers Conte a lot of tactical options. Also this wears out his marker so the opposition will have problems. double teaming Hazard. Apart from the simple passes and the occasional crosses and goals he offers nothing on the ball but so much when the ball is nowhere near him. Curious player. Special Juan 28,141
His crosses were excellent, shame we don't attack the ball properly. Kante unlucky not to get a touch on one of them. guddy6969, TheIceMan and kellzfresh

He never says he turned Barca down. He never even says there was an offer from them. Only "conversations". This doesn't mean he didn't turn them down. It just means he hasn't said it. If he did say no to the Spanish giants, I reckon playing time probably had something to do with it. What do you think?

Kieran. 6,317
Lad's got a dangerous free kick on him. He's only taken a couple this year and has hit the bar twice.

Popular Post! coolhead23 1,147 Posted March 20, 2017 Popular Post! Share Posted March 20, 2017 Not sure if it's only me, but feel like Alonso is very underrated in the Chelsea side. Week on week, this guy is been impressive in his own way ... yes he has weakness and is not the star player like a Hazard/Costa but he comes in does his job impressively (more on the lines of Kante of last season). He puts in the work rate on the flanks, defends when needed, is on the offensive, decent in the air (feel he has improved), doesnt shy away from the physical aspect of the game, team player, has got some important goals... more importantly gives u a consistent 7.5 - 8 kind of performance. He has a much improved player as a Wing back then what he was when he started as LB. We keep talking about the Hazards, Costas, our Defense, Kantes but I dont think he gets much credit ... maybe I'm wrong but that's my feeling. Muzchap, Tautvix, manpe and 2 others
