Because Mana replied to my comment about Jorginho possibly gettting Ballon d Or now after Messi is not even nominated as one of the 3 best attackers in CL.

Regardless, Kante was more influential in our Champions League run than Jorginho. 

And hard to complain about Messi not being nominated when the main 3 nominees are Haaland, Lewandowski and Mbappe. All 3 had more of an impact.

Don’t think that is a hot take at all, Maka was a great role player, Kante is a great main player.

Offers more on the ball but in terms of influence I'd say they are on par. 

A midfield three of Lampard/Makelele/Kante would've been incredible.

Nothing the club can really do about it if France want to call him up.

Ever since Deschamps and Lampard had disagreements over Kante being used for France, it feels like he'll be called up and flogged by them regardless.

Much like his hamstring, he has that reoccurring ankle injury that needs to be managed carefully. Physios must not have seen any damaged muscle fibers, hence the call up.

i guess we can't legally stop him, but i doubt Kante would go against the club if they told him he shouldn't go because of his health

We can probably roll without him for that Villa game and the first Champions League game too, and try to have him fit for the Spurs game in a couple of weeks.
