They had their moments to go forward, before the last 5-10 minutes onslaught, but we just didn't allow them to. We were winning the 50-50s, pressing them, winning individual battles, showing plenty of movement to drag them about etc. It wasn't anything like the FA Cup game last season. Sure we did all that and i am aware of our great performance, but Utd is not a high pressing team. It would be great to see more of the same vs Liverpool. MrExcalibur100 7,124
I'm glad he didn't shake that despicable human being's hand. After all the stupid, snide remarks this season silly of Maureen to expect a handshake The Chels

Conte made their misarable lives even worse once again. No haters, is the board most people are mad. We all know he is good and should be giving time, but the board fire people for their screws up. We knew we was going to have a hard time this season because of the transfer window. And when that happens the coach is a dead man walking. manpe 10,861
Antonio's hairdryer treatment working yet again, the team responded magnificently. Guy must be a very good motivator. even after having fallen out with two big characters (Costa, Luiz), others are still responding.

Need to continue this momentum after the international break. West Brom, then two big games at Qarabag and Liverpool.

Special Juan 28,867
Fair play to him if he's dropped Luiz based on his attitude, fuck player power. Conte runs this ship and he was spot on if reports are correct, maybe they might stop dragging their knuckles and start to show fight knowing they won't be pandered too. petre.ispirescu
kellzfresh 7,229
If only Conte found a solution to when the bigger teams press us. He'll undoubtedly be one of the best 5 managers in the world if he figures how to play against pressing out. We absolutely dominated manutd yesterday. Spot on tactically. Fernando 6,743
If he is not sacked, and he does not leaves this summer, I think by next season he will have a better team. Just need to suffer one more season. Because we might see the real deal next season. blueblood22 and Leif
KevinAshburner 1,270
I would like to see what Conte can do with Real Madrid and Barcelona Squad as manager. How those players would deal with the intense training methods of Conte.

Yesterday's refused handshake was the perfect "your pettiness doesn't matter to me" moment from Antonio. Mourinho has shown no respect for Conte and got none in return because of it. Think that not shaking his hand shows that Mourinho did actually get to him. Nothing would have shown that Jose's pettiness hadn't gotten to Conte than had he shaken his hand. It felt unnecessarily petty and Jose-like. 7 minutes ago, manpe said: Still better than Jose going personal mocking his baldness. Tbf, "less of a cunt than Jose Mourinho" is not exactly a high bar. Conte is better than that, imo.
Special Juan 28,867
Beating Mourinho and United was the best handshake possible. They shook hands at the start, what next? Kiss and cuddle embrace?
-Kaplan- 410
So Morata had a "bad spell" about as long as Harry Kane's first month every season. But people will have you believe Kane's is "normal" and Morata is the next Torres. We have 2 solid strikers. And we beat ManU before the international break. 2 weeks of relative peace. Above everything though, a clean sheet. Leif
BXL70 400
Worst thing would be to sack Conte. He was right to punish David Luiz. First, David was not good over the last couple of weeks - remind that penalty against Atletico for a start. Second, and foremost, David has not right to criticize the coach: he is a player and must follow the instructions he is given. Everyone has his own role and responsibility. Not sure why there's a fuss about it. Fernando
Popular Post! Pizy 19,377 Posted November 6, 2017 Popular Post! Share Posted November 6, 2017 The cameraman also deserves lots of credit at the end there showing Mourinho standing there like a fool while you see Conte in the background just completely ignoring him and going on to the pitch to celebrate. José was like "uhhh, what do I do? Guess I'll just go shake these guys' hands." 😂😂😂 manpe, Laylabelle, Mufassir08 and 2 others
