bushman 2,043
Jose is not exempt from criticism but where were all these people after the Liverpool victory.....oh wait!!We were all here, whooping it up. Were you?Despite of seeing 10 players around the box, then.
MrExcalibur100 7,124
He's a bad loser. That's fine. There's nothing noble in being a good loser.Jose isn't always right, but most of use support him. You never fail to moan and criticise him. You're a joke. This has more to do with Mourinho and less to do with me. Mourinho has an enormous ego that will get him in trouble with Roman again and would cause him to be fired. He forgets that he is an employee at this football club and gets ahead of himself with some of his comments. I want him to finish his contract and I want it all to work out, but he needs to change his attitude. Being a bad loser is one thing, throwing your players under the boss to save face from criticism (in this case, style of football) is another. "I made eleven mistakes", "I don't have a striker" "my 3 strikers are good" "Hazard has shown evolution in defensive game" "I'm not happy with Hazard's defensive game (all season is what he meant not that isolated incident)", then the ref bullshit, even though we were crap against Villa and Sunderland prior to major fuck ups from refs............... He just needs to caught out the antics and tame his ego. That's all I'm saying bro. Please let's not resort to petty name-calling. bushman
kellzfresh 7,229
0202We did in the first season, but 10-11 we played some off the worst football i have ever seen, even the 6-0 vs Wigan was poor. That second season we let too many experienced players leave and ended up with a weak squad. Plays like machecren, kakuta, and so on were regulars on the squad. I don't blame ancelloti at all for that. I also had a feeling he was under internal pressure because of the flop torres purchase. He deserved to stay at least another season. I didn't complain about any manager sacking as much as this one.
MrExcalibur100 7,124
Jose is not exempt from criticism but where were all these people after the Liverpool victory.....oh wait!!You miss the point though. This is not about victories or defeats. This is about being an ambassador for the football club. Watch the presser again, it's embarrassing. The Chelsea presser-coordinator seated next to Jose had to make that akward *coughing* noise (as if to say, you're talking to much now) when Jose started going on about Hazard and how many trophies he has won in the last 4 years. This is about Mourinho, I know exactly what this about. He's the manager of this football club for a reason....he's the best in the world. He speaks his mind and I respect him for that. He never cuts corners nor does he back down, why should he? He loves Chelsea, he loves the fans and what he thinks is right is fine by me. Mourinho is the big attraction, his press conferences get more people in them than a lower league team do, why? Because he is the big dog.Do less fucking moaning and get behind him. boshman, Muzchap and The only place to be

This is getting pathetic now. Jose is a fine ambassador of this club and good value. He's done more than enough to earn a bit of leeway and doesn't deserve 'fans' like you constantly on his back. I'm sorry if you think I'm picking on you, but in my defence it's only because I despise fans of your ilk and what you've brought to this club.He hasn't thrown Hazard under the bus but simply been honest in the hopes that Eden will learn from his mistakes. boshman and Muzchap

Popular Post! Styles 9,790 Posted May 2, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted May 2, 2014 Unpopular opinion =I'm starting to get turned off by him, I'm sorry. He's changed. He's not the same guy he was in his first spell here. I'm not calling for him to be sacked, far from it, I'm not insane but he needs to relax a little and accept defeats sometimes. He needs to know he is an ambassador of this football club with every word that comes out of his mouth placed under scrutiny. The clever quotes are fun to listen to, but when you start throwing your players under the bus to deflect from criticism, then you know you have a problem. No one needs to remind Mourinho he's a great manager, but Jesus Christ, the guy needs to curb his ego. His (prepared) speech on how he feels to be going two seasons without a trophy was sad to listen to. Sometimes you wonder if he really loves the club or if he is mostly concerned with furthering the legend of "Mourinho the Special One". I get what you’re saying but Mourinho actually addressed two separate statements from Hazard. The ‘we are not set up to play football’ line was a clear case of hacks twisting Hazard’s words to promote a narrative, and Jose said so. No issue there. The second which I’m guessing wasn’t misinterpreted is what Jose took offence to. For Hazard to say he has to do everything alone but be the player who let his team-mates down by failing to track a runner needed to be addressed. I remember several years ago he criticised Carvalho and called him stupid for comments he made in the press. If Carvalho - a world-class footballer who was one of Jose’s most trusted and senior players - can get it then so can Hazard. I have absolutely no issue with that and I'm a huge Hazard fan. darrus 422
Sorry, I'm just surprised by things I read here.It all reminds me of the story that happened recently at work. One of my collegues blatantly disregarded safety procedures and when students objected ordered them to "shut up or forget about passing exams". As a result five students were injured, two of them seriously. Know who was blamed by everyone after it happened? No, not the guy who didn't do his work, but his cheef who publicly admitted the incident and apologized to students and their parents. He endangered the reputation of university! That never should be done! That same logic is applied here. Hazard fucked up in a match - he's not to blame. Came up with comments that make the press laugh at our club for 3 days already - he's done well. But when the manager, answering a direct question, says that Hazard should clean up his act - he's damaging the reputation of the club. It's probably very easy to live in a society where you can do anything and never get criticized because pointing out that someone does something wrong is considered worse than doing your work badly.Though praising players doesn't work too. I remember Mourinho being called a deluded hypocrite when he talked about forwards doing everything for the team and called exactly same words when he said that his forwards are not good enough. Probably even by the same people Muzchap, Barbara and kellzfresh

Jose has nothing to learn in PR, he's forgot more than we know, and when you are dealing with the rats of the English media I think he handles them with the gratitude they deserve, and he is being more than graceful with them.I wouldn't give them the steam off my shite personally. If it wasn't misinterpreted it's a huge sign of - damn, don't know the English word, it's called "star-disease" here and needs to be sorted out or we may end up with our own Bojan Krkic. Fernando 6,591
I will say it, Mourinho you screwed up here. You did it good by saying it was mistranslated quote, but you don't thrown your player down like that in public.Never, ever ever!Do it behind doors for crying out loud! Now the PSG saga will be unending, sigh. Simeone just beat his side with an Atletico Madrid XI worth 35 million euros, almost the same price as Willian alone. But that's not even the issue. You can't continue to publicly criticize your players and blame everyone for yourself because you are trying to preserve your reputation. haranr
