CHOULO19 24,332
Honesty it's so simple, but why mourinho choosing a harder way to make this team stronger than last season....Simple? Simple?! Answer me this, then, if it were so simple, then why do teams pay millions for manager and not just get some guy off the street to do it for minimum wage? Obviously he's the one who trains the team and im sure he's already tryin much thing. its just, i still dont get some of this idea, like mata being benched. If he wants a winger with good tracking back skill, just put oscar there. i find it so ironic, we had so many young talent with this much amount of creativity but until now we played so slowly. And we need mata.I hope someday jose gonna try to move oscar to that pivot position, im so sure he's gonna be so good there.

Is obviously fitness.2, He want's the team to be able to play without Mata. Jose doesn't want a focal point in all our games. He wants team work and the team to be able to get along in crucial games without a win. In a long term plan, thats needed.3. It's not just tracking back. You need to have intelligence in playing on the wings, that's completely different from the intelligence you require to play in the #10 area. Oscar would never play to his potential on the wings. Oscar is a pure #10 who in future can be one of the best in that position. Why would you mess that potential up by playing him on the wings? Mata is a terrific player, arguably the best in the squad but he has lots of players to fight with to get two or maximum three spots in the starting 11. Me and you have no idea how the training sessions are. Mata might not be performing as well as we think.I have also told couple of times before how Mourinho treated Joey the same way and he turned out brilliant for us. HE adapted and I expect Mata to do the same. The last part's debatable. Being a pivot player is a whole new ball game, and even though I want him to be there, we can't be sure whether Jose will try him out. kellzfresh, Blue Armour and Arief

Fernando 6,586
Book claims Mou 'cried' at United snubWell I do remember everyone here and all over the world saying that Mourinho had audition for the United job when Madrid eliminated United in the Champions League. As the saying goes, where there's smoke there's fire. And besides Chelsea had been going through many managers in the past and Mourinho could have come back before. It's interesting he comes after saf retires... But who cares, just like Chelsea was not his first choice so was Mourinho never our first choice. We each settled for second best and that's fine by me. Popular Post! Barbara 15,149 Posted September 25, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted September 25, 2013 yeah... Mourinho who had talked to the Abramovich back in January, Mourinho who has said million times there's only one team for him in England, Mourinho who is as fierce as they come... sat on his bed - while on the phone with other people and sobbed because he has lost a job! This Torres guy is one of the journalists that had tons of issues with Mourinho. He had inside info from Casillas and Ramos and therefore leaked the info to the media before Mourinho acknowledged it (and people wonder why he's been so outspoken about Mata and Luiz - not giving a chance for the info to be leaked and twisted as press please, although nothing in the world compares to Spanish press). So I get how he had info on the issues with Casillas and Ramos before - as the two of them probably revealed the kind of conversation Mourinho had with them.I mean does anyone really see Mourinho sobbing on the phone? Look to Mourinho, the fierce guy on press conferences, sobbing because he wasn't chosen. It's so much BS I can't even! Also he doesn't sound bitter at all when his book's title is Get ready to lose - the three years of Mourinho at Real Madrid. Nope, not bitter at all, just a real respecting, nice lad. And of course it had to be brought here, surely. All those rumours were endless - Mourinho buying a house in London (last spring!), Rui Faria registering a car to London, Mourinho having pre-signed contract with Chelsea (sometime in December), Mourinho's daughter admitted to some college in London (about the same time), Mourinho wearing some expensive watch - supposedly a gift from RA, Mourinho being instrumental in forcing Lampard's contract extention, Mourinho spending his free day in London, Mourinho definitely signing with Chelsea, Mourinho absent at training because of traveling to London (last two should be February if my memory serves me right), and all this with so much detail that I always wondered how do they get all this information - even players leaking news to the press would not account for such details. And now they're spinning a completely different story. Well, good luck to them, I guess... nachikethas, Sidzeret and Only1Didier

kellzfresh 7,229
Well I was reading an article that stated otherwise. How his players complain cause he will put them to play as a small team. Here:The arguments usually centred on the players’ sense that their coach was demeaning them. At three levels. One, because too often against Barcelona he made them play like a little team does against a big team, seeking to stop the rival from playing and hoping to snatch a goal on the break. Two, because beyond counter-attack Mourinho’s Real had no settled system of play, meaning that even the weaker teams they played against figured that ceding possession of the ball to them was the best way to ensure they would not know how to attack. Three, because he seemed to follow a deviously crafted script, either blaming referees for defeats or stoutly defending his methods of play.http://www.ft.com/intl/cms/s/2/3fcb0618-15aa-11e3-950a-00144feabdc0.html#ixzz2eDYMeIvjMourinho has identified that people tend to change their style and sit deep against us(if you watched his last interview), so he'll find the perfect system to overcome that. We just need time for the players to understand their roles perfectly. GodZola

Blue Warrior 109
Non story, the Chelsea victory is the only thing worth hearing. AVB mumbles his way to defeat and bores us all with a long rant.

meetdoscar 335
José Mourinho has lost just 1.84% of his home league games across his entire managerial career. #CFCThat's negligible but ridiculously some chelsea fans don't seem to think he is the best business of our summer transfer. He will definitely show us the way forward. kellzfresh
