Just wasn't their trophy. Modric going off ruined the game for them, after he went off it was route one football, desperately trying to win it. You can't - even in the far away back of your mind - not admit that all of the worse aspects of Jose this season came out and magnified 1000x. This season I think he's finally realised just how lucky he was to have Chelsea.I can't help but feel optimistic at Jose coming home. He'll come in with a massive point to prove, hugely motivated and with the talent we have in the squad I believe he can achieve a lot more than he did in his first stint with us.
