The Mourinho Thread

All these ifs & buts, do not cut it with me, sorry.

I assume, you have been watching football for a number of years. So, let me ask you a simple question.

If Jose continuously mock the strikers, Samuel included, perhaps in Torres & BA case it is justified, then how can these players perform better? If I were to say, you are no good for nothing, would you play for me? Chances for the PL were thrown out by Jose, in recent times. Last night, he experimented with Shurrle, brings Frank about, how about Mikel, instead? The game was tied at one apiece then. I, certainly, do not want sound like I only blame Jose here, but sometimes I questioned his decisions & last night was not one his better games, I feel.

Actually, it depends on people. Say to Terry, for example, that he is sh*t and can't perform and you'll get "I'll show you" response. Some of the players need constant reassurance, sure.

But how many times in this same thread Jose was called deluded or worse for praising his strikers for doing good work, for saying good words about Torres after another horror performance. Now he's gone for another apptoach or it's simply a way to push Torres out. And this approach worked with Eto'o.

There is nothing to like about the result. PSG can now play with freedom in the second leg due to their two-goal cushion

The lack of squad depth is concerning, particularly in midfield where Ramires and Oscar have been well below par in recent games as well as the fact that Matic is unavailable for UCL

Exactly This plays perfectly into PSG's hand and we have not shown the ability to calve out quality chances against teams who aren't too interested in bombing forward and don't have to. I shudder to think what Lavezzi, Cavani and Lucas will do to us on the counter as we inevitably leave space behind for them to exploit.

I feel really bad for him. I watched him trying to answer questions after the match about strikers and Schurrle and he looked close to tears! That Eto'o injury really hurt us.

I think mou will have to take part of the blame for our striker problem because we have a good striker but he is in Everton.

It's pretty well known that Ancelotti pushed for the Torres transfer.

He may have said yes I'll have him but is there actually any substantual proof that he was the sole reason for Torres coming to Chelsea?

And he had the guts to call Arsene Wenger a specialist in Failure, he is the failure for failing to fix our scoring problems and set piece problems all season. His not won anything in 2 years by the way

Just get out of the thread you stupid troll. It's obvious in all your posts that you're not even a Chelsea fan. Jose has failed to achieve titles with this Chelsea team so far, but we have been the only ones capable of challenging City for the league and until now our run in the CL was quite respectable, as well as our performances against our domestic rivals. All of that despite all the faults in our squad.

While people are obviously frustrated, I don't believe anyone here will say Mourinho will still fail to achieve even if we fix the key positions we need to fix.

He did fail to fix SOME of all the issues with our squad in the summer, but obviously one thing is to make an analysis of the faults in the team you're watching play, another thing is to make an analysis of the faults in the team you're working with.

Like it or not, selling Mata and KDB were 2 of the best decisions Mourinho has done since rejoining Chelsea. KDB was a flop who had the work rate of a 60 year old and Mata has been at Manchester United a shadow of what he was at Chelsea.

I also feel disappointed that we didn't win the quadruple in Mourinho's first season back at Chelsea, but I still have faith in this Chelsea project.

Well, slamming Etoo in public seemed to get him straight.

I wonder if it will have the same effect on Torres.
