Is there any way to add the word "Stability" to a banned-word section of this forum meaning if someone types it it can't be published?

I hate the word.

Definition: "The state or quality of being stable, especially: a. Resistance to change, deterioration, or displacement."

Synonyms: constancy - steadiness - firmness - fixity - permanence

We've been competing at the top level of football both in the Premier League and in Europe for a decade now. We've consistently had some of the best players in the world, consistently won trophies, consistently challenged for almost every trophy you can realistically challenge for in this country, consistently had some of the best coaches in the world at our helm; Point is - "Stability" isn't defined by how long a manager stays at a club. If you think that defines whether a club has stability or not you are completely nuts. We're one of the most stable clubs in world football with a (seemingly) excellent financial plan too for when FFP kicks in, meaning with our billionaire owner still with us, despite the odd transition season like the one we're currently experiencing, we are very stable.

I'll tell you why we dont have stabillity -

Today we win against United, tomorrow we lose against QPR.

As simple as that.

That's inconsistent form, not lack of stability as a club.

oh I see what you mean now..

But firing a manager every year, finishing 6 in the league but winning CL, always changing everything, u cant predict anything.. thats what people mean. It hadnt been so bad Ill give you that, we've won many trophies and had great success. But it would be nice to not see a manager fired every season and just be a "normal" team for once.

Also, the lack of form consistency is probably due to everything stated above.

Him coming here will completely pulverize our youth development program. It will eventually signal the end of the careers of players like De Bruyne at Chelsea. Mourinho plays the full squad even in the fucking Carling Cup. Do not want. Do not come please. No one here seems to remember how bad we were in his last year here.

Get someone who can focus on long term success and not a guy who coaches 1 year and runs away to another club. Managerial equivalent of a prostitute.

Mourinho is the best in a limited number of available candidates. You're surely not pegging for Moyes over Mourinho?

Those who think Chelsea will be a stable club in the future should look elsewhere.

Chelsea are & most likely will bring controversy upon themselves.

Stability at Chelsea, does anyone even know what this word means at Stamford ?

Therefore, Jose fits right in at the Bridge.

I'm honest, you answer was dumb, I had to respond, and it was my feelings toward you at that moment, so I'll tell it first : I'm sorry, I was wrong to respond like that, I sincerely hope you'll excuse that message, have a good day.

I saw people referring to that type of football as "tika taka" and I thought that you and others believed that I was spelling it wrong by using the term tiki taka. That's why I posted that link, I didn't know you were being sarcastic. Whatever, apology accepted.

Exactly.

He said the reason himself when Arsenal were being rated for their youthish team...to much pressure to win trophies so he had to play/felt he had to play with what he knew and what would get results. If he had the time and not all that pressure he'd been happy to promote and play youth.....

Duno what remember what lol just something that stuck.....we werent that bad.Came 2nd despite a dozen injuries and Cech out for ages, won the double....

These papers and sites reporting that Mou has asked Lew to join us just won't quiet down will they? It's rare that such a story is reported in seemingly every corner of the globe for so long even after the manager of the player has denied such a similar claim. I think there's substance to it. I think if we get Mourinho the good days will return next season.

I'm not interested in how you spell this or that, I want to know what Tiki Taka, Taka Taki or tika taka called it like you want, is for you, what does it really means on the pitch, because for me, its only mean fast passing & taking decision in a short space of time and still not losing the ball, its not a style of play, lets call Total Football the style of play of Barcelona or possession football.

How many coaches have we had in the Abramovic era that have stayed long term?

People class long term, for us anyway, as 3+ years. Mourinho was the last 3+ year manager we had and he could've potentially stayed longer - so the argument that Mourinho won't stay for more than a season or two doesn't add up for me.

Mourinho will come into the club knowing that we're not buying players at £30m for every position now, he knows that CFC are trying to build a team through finding talented youngsters which we then want to nurture to becoming world class superstars which in return will bring us more trophies. We've got a very exciting squad coming through, a lot of people know that, and this is clearly a different challenge for Mourinho. Mourinho and Roman know that they'll both have to be a little bit more patient to see this project coming to fruition.

Right now there isn't a better man than Mourinho on the market.

This summer will be crazier than last summer. Imagine that.
