Haha! Well, until it's announced we can atleast fantasise about coming back, Giving an arrogant press conference, Stamford Bridge being the fortress again, he silencing the liverpool crowd, raising his arms in disgust at the touchline and then hugging the 4th official. You know thing like that. . :P

Is mancini leaving at the end of the season?

Probably if they don't win anything and Jose is available..

Why?

I swear we've been through this before! :P I won't go into details again, but mainly for stability, because he will be given more time and freedom to manage the team and transfers as he wants.

I'm not sure City offer that much more stability than us. The job only become available if they sack their manager who won them the league last year. Mancini has also complained about the players who were bought in and I can only see Begiristain's role increasing.

Mourinho is ambitious. If he goes to City, the best he can make them is the second biggest club in Manchester. If he comes here, then the sky is the limit over the next decade.

Well it's the Daily Star.

But if it were to be true then that would be an issue for the club going forward.

Mourinho is our only option now, never forget that.

The question is whether it's Emenalo specifically that he doesn't like, the fact he's apparently close to Abramovich or the idea of having anyone in that role in the first place.

It's all very well bending to his requests and getting rid of certain people, but Mourinho has a tendency of not sticking around for long so what happens when he leaves? Who provides the stability at the top of the club then? If this is true (and it's a big if) then it's not an easy decision by any means.

Just get Mourinho here, whatever it takes.

Doesn't the club have to plan for the future if Mourinho doesn't work out? Don't we need a consistent presence to oversee the club?

If you're saying then we should get rid of him and replace him, who with?

It's by no means as simple as you're suggesting, if it's true.

Yes we do have to plan for the future if it doesn't work out, but to be honest the way things are done at CFC it will be another case of 'Sack and get the nearest culprit who's out of work'

This bloke Emanalo was the fella that brought us Sir Rafa wasn't it? He should be sacked alone for doing that.....Mong.

So do we eliminate the role altogether or hire someone else? Under those circumstances, who? And who appoints him?

If it's true then it needs some thought.

The next appointment this club makes for the managerial role has to be so spot on it's scary, imperative without a shadow of doubt. I have no idea who should be appointed if Emanalo goes, but what I do know is that Roman should do all in his power to bring JM back, if that means Emanalo packs up then fine. This is all hypothetical, I am really only concerned with the appointment of the next manager and how important it is.

Like I said, it's as if this club doesn't do thought at times from upstairs, but by Christ they need to start now.

As far as i know, Mourinho doesn't like the idea of a technical director at a football club. He wants to have full charge of the team and he doesn't like a middle man between the owner of the club and himself. So it's not about replacing Emenalo but eliminating the technical director position. Didn't he do the same thing when he went to Madrid?
