I have a feeling Utd will think of Cech if De Gea leaves (which is highly likely). I would not want him to join Utd, but Cech does deserve a such a massive club.

Don't like the thought of it, but I would not hold it against him since he was replaced. Here's hoping he moves to a side outside England.

Cech has done waaaaaaay too much for this club for us to begrudge him a move to another top English team.

He's not "obviously" better than Thibaut. I maintain the stance I adopted 18 months ago and got ridiculed for: Cech is very, very, very slightly the better of the two goalkeepers at the moment, but Courtois has ten years on him. By the time Thibaut is 33 he could have smashed every record Petr ever set. If Cech is a 9.5/10 goalkeeper then Courtois is a 9/10 goalkeeper - you have to give him the time and room to grow because he has the potential to be a certified 10/10.

He is better than Cech. He was nominated for last Ballon D'or AS A GOALKEEPER even without being flashy like Neuer.

However he's worse than 2004-2006 Cech.

Next season in champs league it will be the Cech vs Chelsea show just like this season was Luiz vs Chelsea...

Sirigu sucks. Cech would be a perfect short term replacement for him and PSG would be the best situation for him.

I've seen nothing this season to suggest we'll be better off with Courtois in goal, as opposed to Petr. In fact, in the short term, I think we might actually be worse off, but time will tell.

judging by his agent and Jose's comments,I have a strong feeling he will be going to either Arsenal or United. I believe Jose wants to persuade him to not go there(obvious reasons) but Roman may not mind that happening and since he has the final say,there is a strong possibility of it happening.

Like I mentioned earlier, it would be best for him to return after an overseas adventure but one can understand that Petr is well settled with his family in England.

In that case Arsenal would definitely be the main priority. If that doesn't happen then maybe PSG?

While Courtois is definately great gk and has potential to be even better, i doubt he will be as good as prime Cech.

Cech came to chelsea in 2004 and broke record without conceding for over 1000min, he needed least games to reach 100 clean sheets and is on path to set record of most clean sheets in history of PL. He had awesome defense back then too, but to me, he still looked like more reliable and stand out player than Courtois is atm.

Records aside, Cech is one of main reasons why we won CL in 2012, several PL titles and Fa cups.

And Messi never scored against him. How about that.

Despite he not as good as he was, if we sell him to United or Arsenal, I can bet he will make them serious title winners for next season. He is exactly the kind of gk for it. When team is deep in hell, he will pull some unbelievable saves and rescue the team.

But prime Cech was in 2004-2006. Even slightly earlier when he was playing for Rennes. After injury he's not in the same highest standard that used to be. It's good that he came back to being world-class after 2008 drop but still.
