It has since come out that it wasn't failed medical but rather he couldn't agree personal terms with them. They probably offered him peanuts and expected him to jump at the chance to join "the biggest club in England" as they view themselves.

I'd have him as a second option for sure should Lukaku leave.

Normally I'd agree with you but this is Torres we're talking about, after three and a half years of torture I'd enjoy watching him suffer at QPR.
