Stats 7,145
It wouldn't make sense if he wants to move now imo. He already signed knowing he would be back up to Costa when he had loads of clubs wanting him last summer to be no.1 striker for them but he chose to come to us. Maybe he would of envisaged more starts but either way he contributed with goals in all competitions and knows Costa has injury problems and will definitely see game time. He may not like it but can see him staring out wide next season too. He will be a valuable member. I hope he has no intention of leaving. xPetrCechx 13,571
Chelsea could demand anywhere between £15m-£20m for Remy, which would create a stumbling block for Palace. RoyalBlues 4,050
Expecting Mourinho to confirm about Remy future after Falcao signed. So far I couldn't see any concrete quote that Remy want to leave. mikeholiday 209
Why would we even set a price goddamit... Swansea, West Ham, Crystal Palace all made 70+ m last year i dont think 15m scares them anymore

Unionjack 7,531
I dont think we could have asked more from the lad last year. He was a great buy for the money he cost us.But Ive said it before but I dont think Mou had faith in him.Ive never considered Mou to be sentimental in team selections but we gotta ask whether he kept picking Drogba over him because of the old pals act or if he just did not trust Remy.OK Hes not a game changer and I could think of many strikers Id prefer before him but if I was to be asked whether Id have him or Falcao its a no contest. What we goota ask is has Remys ego been given a boost with his higher profile hes been given? I could see him snapped up and walk into a mid level PL side and do very well for them. But did he feel that he got enough playing time last year and did he feel appreciated? nyikolajevics 2,700
I really really like Rémy, but Falcao is clearly better than him. Manchester United last year just didn't work, so this compiration is unfair. Let's see how Falcao will do at Chelsea, at a team that works very well. Mata was great here and I'm sure Di Maria would have been great for us as well. So I agree that it's hard to gauge those stats when United was a mess last season. nyikolajevics

You are only as good as your last game.Remy is younger, fitter, more reliable goal scorer over the past two seasons plus he's premier league proven and his ability to impact the game as a second choice striker isn't in question while Falaco on the other hand is struggling to regain previous form or return to top physical and mental condition (that injury really took its toll on him) . he spent majority of last season on his arse, doing his best Torres imitation (man utd can attest). At this point in time, Remy is a safer and surer bet to succeed at Chelsea and the premier league (He already has). There's no single logical reason why anyone would pick Falcao over remy, which is what this is rapidly turning into, other than reputation which counts for little on the pitch. DazLaughlan 55
Remy is a really good player, whenever he's been available and called on he delivers. I hope he stays, potential to play wide right? Chelsea?

Yeah, like 10 months. Anyway, Falcao is a risky signing, no doubt, but we need to try it. Remy is a good player but Falcao is one of the best strikers of the last few years and we are lucky if we can loan him out to try if he still got it.
