Just one source reporting it so far. Rob Beasley is close to Jose, that much is true, but then again I wouldn't really be surprised if this was just another one of Mourinho's mind games ahead of a big match where we'll be facing two of our former strikers.

If he really is injured, I seriously hope it's not a bad one. A couple of weeks wouldn't really hurt us that much because we only have one game and after that it will be time for an international break but anything more than that and we're fucked.

It's not Beasley who wrote the article.

Even if it's only 'a couple of weeks' it could still be bad. Coming from someone who has had like a billion hamstring injuries, you get injured, go through the rest/rehab/training thinking it's fine again, then pull/tear it again when you're back in a competitive situation.

This is assuming the rumours are true ofc.

It is understood Costa suffered a hamstring problem in training on Wednesday that has prompted fears he could be out for up to six weeks.

But Chelsea are hoping further assessment will show the injury is not too bad and Costa has still not given up on facing Everton at Goodison Park

Wtf ? Up to 6 weeks but he thinks he can play against Everton ?

He is injured. Beasley is a chelsea fan there is no reason to completely make it up. Its a huge blow, our next 3 games are extremely tough but we should of sorted our striker problems weeks ago, now we dont have a single striker at the club who is good enough.

best case i can see/ hope for is it isn't as bad as first feared but is out for everton, drogba roles back the years we beat everton and costa is fully fit and ready for the swansea game.

It's pretty embarrassing that a club of our size and with our ambitions was banking everything on a single top quality striker who has a history (a very recent history at that) of injuries. Now we're left with an old, past it Drogba and the corpse of Fernando Torres.

Many of us were questioning from the moment we signed Costa what the hell would happen if he got injured early in the season. We're about to find out.

I don't know about you but it was good this happen.

Why?

Because we been saying that there's no way we will last with the 3 strikers we have.

That if an injury happens to Costa we will be screw.

So it's good that this happened while there's still time to buy another striker.

If he indeed got injured.

But even if he didn't get injured we need to get another striker simple.

IF Torres is off, he wont be near the squad Saturday, if he is in the squad, I'd be inclined to think he is not going to Milan

If Costa is injured, obviously Torres will stay. He started kost of our games last year, surely he can start at least 3 for us this season.

The injury has double worries, it could also mean Costa will be injured many times this season.... He injured on training, therefore this injury could repeat more times in this season, as he already had hamstring trouble last season and in summer. That being said, If he is realy injured. Could be just some bad journalism.

And another prove we need another striker, no matter Torres situation...
