wasnt a good game from him, but Atletico in general were rubbish today. but he seems to be the only possible striker available (rooney wont be sold to us, even though some people are still deluded enough to believe this and I dont trust these Cavani rumours either). He is better than Jackson Martinez I think and better than any striker we have (which is not that hard though)

Costa is good at linking-up, he is a fighter, good in the air and his work-rate is tremendous weakness sometimes he wastes too many chances and on occasions his 1st touch lets him down (even though not as bad as Lukakus or Torres)

@didierforever Courtois has nothing to do with Costa. if we want him, we pay the clause and we dont need to include Thibaut .Futhermore, as I pointed out, there are no other options available bar Costa and maybe Mandzukic.

This game doesn't really reflect on how he really is because his whole team was horrible.

BUT, what u can take from this match is his constant bitching, falling, acting.. that is typical Costa.

Also, you see that he is not a top class striker yet, this season maybe because he scores but still you can see that he's not on that level and its a huge gamble to pay 40m for him.

If we have absolutely no other options whatsoever then get him.. otherwise really dont want this to happen.

Bitching, diving, fighting,...welcome to La liga. Its not just the players, but spanish football. Its like that. Pique, Cesc, etc are examples of players who were normal in england, but become quite divas in spain.

Im sure that if Costa would join us, his fighting and diving would reduce, not entirely, but it would under Mou.

What Im worried about is that Costa isnt most inteligent and could fall to the pressure in big games and do some shit ala fighting or provocating etc...also Mourinho is tactical genious and some players can listen to him like Drogba or Milito while some cant like Balotelli. If Costa is the later, he wont understand Mou tactics and will do more harm than good. But I hope Mou knows what is he doing and will get proper striker. Cavani or Rooney would be best, but its highly unlikely...
