I didn't say you should believe him just because he's Portuguese. He's a respected journalist across Europe who has sources in Portugal where our manager happens to be from. Focussing on him as a player, it'd be mad to complain if we bought him. That said, there are better players out there IMO and I'm not sure he's ever reached the heights people tipped him for, on a personal basis.
