He's no less reliable than other sources being posted here.

Cadena SER, the Guardian and the Telegraph are all sources that I'd think are more reliable than some journalist from Portugal.

Edit: add ABC.es to that list now, they're basically the BBC of Spain.

I was thinking more like Daily Mail, Mirror, Daily Star, Mundo Deportivo, Balague, and Marca who are much more often wrong than right, but always get posted here. And the three you mentioned have also got many things wrong in the past. Even Guardian's rumour accuracy rate is much lower than 50%. Remember us signing Hulk? Just because the journo's from Portugal, it doesn't mean he doesn't have any sources. Guess what? Our manager's Portuguese :o

So what if our manager's Portuguese?

ABC who are the Spanish version of BBC also now reporting it. Of course papers won't get everything at 100% but I'm more inclined to believe those than some journalist just because he's Portuguese.

They're all battling for the same headline, the first one across the line and all that. It's a real lucky bag when it comes to who gets it right etc but there is better and more reliable ones out there that should be held in a little bit more regard than others. This time of year is just a minefield of mental information that can replace alcohol if you really want it too.

It's Arsenal, not the like of Citeh or PSG. If they don't need him then I believe Wenger will not fork out this amount of money to get him just for the sake of not letting us sign him.

True he will just keep moaning and whining about it ..We should sell him Torres ,,really give him something to complain about

I didn't say you should believe him just because he's Portuguese. He's a respected journalist across Europe who has sources in Portugal where our manager happens to be from. He may be right or wrong on this one, but I think it's stupid to rule him out just because he doesn't have a BBC attached to his name

I also didn't say that you should not believe the likes of ABC. I just posted the tweets because I thought some here may be interested. No need to get so offensive

Trying to keep my excitement in check as much as possible.

All I know is that the first thing I'll be doing if we sign him is following Piers Morgan and paying a visit to Arsenal Mania. The meltdowns will be historic.
