Usually turns up for the first half of the season before going missing in the second. Now, it seems to be the other way round.

What can I say, he was brilliant again. People can talk about all the space he was given after Arsenal went down to 10 men, but he was pulling the strings and controlling everything prior to Mertesacker's red card as well. 

I don't know what Hiddink feeds him, but whatever it is it has him playing with class again. However, I like this Cesc even more than the one at the beginning of last season. He has added intensity to his game which makes him much less susceptible to the opponent's pressing. It's refreshing to see. If he keeps playing this way he is going to be very important.
