BlueLyon 9,359
Well there is one thing, him being slow is bit of mith. He isnt exactly fast, but barca style of play makes him look much slower. Same happened with Bayern, last season their players looked like fastest team in world, this year, they looked slower because their change into tiki taka.Btw, that letter from Barca realy shows how unprofessional and disrespectful club they are...twats. No player deserves such goodbye from club. kellzfresh
Jase 43,479
I just hope he's head is in the right place. Getting told you're not good enough by the team you love isn't exactly the biggest vote of confidence. I hope he comes to us with the attitude that he has something to prove.Think the concern, if anything, about his head being at the right place is the fact that his beloved No.1 English club refused to take him back and had no other choice but to accept our offer. He certainly made it sound like he had no other choice judging by his comment after the transfer was announced. And also, not forgetting his history with us, Lampard and even Mourinho. gary gordon
Popular Post! Starman60 1,343 Posted June 14, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted June 14, 2014 Christ people!!!!!!!!! Too much being made of his "history with Lampard and Mourinho". This guy is a professional footballer and Mourinho wanted him, therefore that alleged spat has been put to bed. Fabregas did not have a gun put to his head to sign for us. He signed of his own free will, realizing that he can relaunch his career and that he can become the mainstay of a team that can, and will go on to win major honours. This guy is no mug, and either is Mourinho. These guys will only laugh at all this crap about previous spats And as for his spat with Lampard?? well Frank has left and I'll bet that there's not too many in the current Chelsea side that will even remember it. And if we were to not sign players who we didn't like because they pissed off our players or fans because they played for rivals then we would never have signed the likes ofAshley Cole ArsenalMark Hughes Man UtdMickey Thomas Man UtdJoeyJones LiverpoolManny Petit ArsenalMickey Hazard SpursClive Allen SpursThese guys played for our sworn enemies and then came to us, and became loved by us. So lets forget all this "newspaper hype" about the alleged bad blood between Fabregas and Chelsea. If he was at all unsure about what he could achieve at Chelsea, then he would not have signed. A player like him would not have had to wait too long for another club to snap him up. nono 791
I sincerely doubt he seriously wanted to go back to Arsenal. Arsenal is like footballing purgatory right now with everyone trying to leave. Why would Cesc want to go back there ? He probably just said it to appease the rabid Arsenal fans. jeronimo, The_Flash and Nero
Duppy Conqueror 1,537
He knows absolutely nothing about us or how we treat our legends..he's also a slimey bitter cunt of a child. The_Flash 1,144
Many players have switched teams sometimes it's difficult at first to warm to them but if he has chosen to come here and gives 100% for this team then that is all we can ask.I am looking forward to seeing him here

Jype 6,398
Just visited some Barcelona forum to read what they think about the transfer and I was shocked, it was almost identical to our Torres thread. The people were calling him a cancer for the club and just seemed so happy to see him gone. Amazing really, because at least statistically he was definitely one of their best players in his three seasons at the club despite mostly being played out of position and Barcelona's tiki-taka not suiting him well at all. I know he always went out of form in the second half of the season but fucking hell, saying he was the cause of all their problems in the last three seasons is taking it a bit too far. Spoiled bunch of cunts that lot. kellzfresh, The Rising Sun, jeronimo and 1 other

Spoiled bunch of cunts that lot.Hardly surprising. Many Barcelona fans have never warmed up to him. They think that his "Barcelona DNA" got "corrupted" by PL. He plays too directly, isn't that good at Barcelona's tiki taka. Barcelona fans are blind to Xavi and Iniesta's abysmal stats. Xavi in particular had countless poor games last season, but Cesc Is the one they blame for the club's results. Iniesta had 3 goals ans 7 assists in 27 games in 2013-2014 season.Xavi had a total of 3 goals and 2 assists in 26 games.Fabregas had 8 goals and 13 assists in 28 games (and that's considering the fact that he was played out of position) I'm not surprised that Fabregas had a relatively poor second half of the season. I would too, if I realized that no matter how well I played, I would be benched in favour of Xavi and Iniesta. In the first half of the season he was arguably their best player. I think he finally realized that nothing is going to change for him at Barcelona. Starman60, Barbara, bababoom and 3 others
