LAM09 7,054
I can't stand to watch him play alongside Matic. It's AM or bust IMO, as he's a passenger otherwise
bellion 170
He's undroppable, just like Ivanovic. The fact that Fabregas doesn't execute the favourite Mourinho tactic i.e. track back makes it even more bewildering.Another reason why the Boring One has to go! The Skipper 20,609
I still think a Cesc - Matic - RLC is our most balanced midfield, and would negate everyone's weaknesses a bit. stroey and Barbara

kellzfresh 7,229
Thought our main problems were with this guy, what if it's even more than what i thought...He doesn't create chances for us anyway and he is a huge defensive liability. We can't seem to defend with him on the pitch. That's why we were so good defensively in Mourinho's first season two years ago, then the next year fabregas comes and we lose all sense of defensive stability, conceding chances left, right and center. Jase 43,479
this match pretty much proves that cesc is nothing but unneeded baggage.I wouldn't say he is an unneeded baggage. Just need to play in a different kind of system to thrive and hide his deficiencies. He has always looked decent whenever we play 4-3-3 for instance. Last season his ability to create chances far outweigh his defensive problem, this season is the other way aroun DYC.

He has always looked decent whenever we play 4-3-3 for instance.sorry, but he is not the kind of player for whom a team should change its system. you change systems for world class players, not players who cant give a fuck if their life depended on it. and in the current system, we have 2 B2B players who are better than him - rambo and RLC, and 1 number 10 who is better - willian while another who can provide us atleast with some defensive abilities - oscar. unless, all of them get injured, he should not be on the pitch. I never said we should change the system just to accommodate him. All I said was he's basically someone who needs a specific system to thrive and make his weaknesses less obvious. bellion and stroey
Fulham Broadway 17,314
Can we drop him off at the Emirates in January. I'll chuck in an old Panini album and PS2 to sweeten the deal didierforever

Spike 12,049
Lol! The Useless Cesc!Well, he is 100% right, isn't he? The guy definitely showed something else against Leicester, so hopefully he can at least get on form.
Jase 43,479
Maybe Fabregas would be better off working as a PR officer. Speaks better than he plays.
Popular Post! joshmercury 20 Posted December 16, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted December 16, 2015 Very rarely do I comment in this forum . I am not pro fabregas, but the stick that he gets is so undeserved. You just have to look at the recent Spain game against England to know his quality. This is a worldclass playmaker. But admittedly Cesc's recent form has been poor due to two reasons. He is overburdened, has too much gametime with no rest whatsoever. Against Leicester he had legs after subbing in and you could see the quality and impetus he could provide. Ultra Defensive Tactics focused on making as few mistakes as possibles rather than creating as many opportunities as possible. This is a player who take risks with the ball. He is not suited to chasing shadows without it. He just doesn't have the legs. Instead of criticizing him for it why not play to his strengths. Actually this goes for the entire team. We look so nervous because Mourinho feeds our players to be as precise as possible in minimizing mistakes and this has inturn hindered our attack drastically. In short I see a change in tactics and more rotation see Cesc and the whole team improve. BlueLyon 9,359
Lol! The Useless Cesc! The irony when he is the first of those "chelsea flops who dont do their job in big games but still suck big bucks every week"I hope he leaves as soon as possible and we bring Gundogan. Or keep him for rotation if he doesnt want to be sold.
Sir Mikel OBE 4,920
He should have never wore the shirt again after he allowed a free header against newcastle, and the players who didnt call him out on it are suspect in my eyes too.Anything he has to say is moot.
