I understand why we have been playing defensive in some games this season, due to a lack of a top class striker.

However, hopefully next season we will have one,

So hopefully next season we play better football, like the 6-0 against Arsenal was such a good game to watch, the way we played, got forward quickly.

Hopefully we get a trip to Wembley - either the league cup final or FA Cup semis/final

And I will be happy with a top 3 finish in the league as long as we are properly involved in the title race. Obviously I would like us to win it, but it's such a tough league and just one result can change everything.

People are complaining about parking the bus but neglecting the far bigger issue which is our non existent build up play and inability to break down parked defenses. Our general play is like watching a paint dry. incredibly painful and frustrating to watch. atleast when we park the bus, it's usually done against teams that are superior to us to get a result.

The other 85% of the matches were we aren't parking the bus is what needs massive massive improvement.

One interesting fact: Mourinho will be the first manager to not get the axe after a trophyless season under Roman. Can you imagine Mourinho keeping his job after TWO trophy-less seasons?

Judging by Jose's comments today I predict Guardiola as head coach for 15/16 season.

If Jose cant win anything in 3 years at Chelsea, I doubt Pep can. Besides he'd still be Bayern's coach then.

No thanks, fuck Guardiola. If he comes to Chelsea I won't even watch the games. Way too boring to watch imo, if Mourinho gets sacked try and get Klopp. I want us to play like Dortmund.

I do hope we win the league, but I have seen a lot of Chelsea fans (not talking about anyone on here, don't worry) expecting us to be unstoppable next year when we finally have a good striker or two.

Now obviously I would love this to be true, but I just think people shouldn't get their expectations up too much.

After all, I bet Man City fans are saying they will be unstoppable next season once they sort their defence out? Which tbh, I can't argue with either.

Pep!!!??? some people just wanna stir shit... its their only objective in life.

Agreed the only manager that might be able to do better than Jose is Klopp or Simione or Carlo. I don't think anyone else would be able to do a better job.

OK screw it one of my expectation for next season is better football too. Not demanding we change into Dortmund/Liverpool/City attacking style but just need to be much better than currently. So that is BPL+ good football. Breaking buses down are one of the main priority.

Good cup runs, last team again in Europe and win the league :D.Play better football...be less frustrating..players remembering what a goal is and being able to draw and not dropping silly points that have cost us this season...also be nice and a probably be a surprise in a way to still have Jose as Manager..and if QPR do come up we do the double over them this time round

Take into consideration that Man City were crippled this season and are on the verge of winning the league. Also, if they somehow get Fernando and Mangala with a healthy team, City would be the favorites again...

Arsenal were crippled as well and still manage top 4. Add Remy to the mix with Arsene's french connection and bring back theo, they can challenge for the title as well.

I think Liverpool drops off a lot. Maybe out of the top 4 or 4th place pending on united's moves...Everton as well, their team has 3 significant loan players that will probably be gone ....

So, top 2 in the league, either fa or carling cup and semis in the CL would do it!! But one trophy at least (not carling cup though).

Even if Arsenal sign Remy and we get Costa we got a much better squad and starting 11. The only squad that we don't have that is as good are City but this season shows we do have what it takes to finish above them so imo with Costa we should be finishing ahead of them. Agreed with the rest though.
