Popular Post! MrExcalibur100 7,124 Posted February 26, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted February 26, 2014 At the end of the day, football is supposed to be about entertainment. This Chelsea team is one of the most expensively assembled sides in the world, yet the opposition made us look like a pub team. How can a team with Hazard, Schurrle, Oscar, Torres, and so on, produce such turgid football? Mancini, who is supposed to be a conservative manager has his team keeping it on the ground and passing it. We just lump it forward to oblivion. Look at poor Hazard. Out of breath chasing shadows for 90 mins against Galatasaray. He doesn't deserve that shit. It's not fair on him. He can't even express himself, because the offensive play tactics are basically non-existent. It's a decent result, but can anyone really be pleased with that boring rubbish? And it's been like this all season. What the fuck is happening? As soon as a team pressures us, we can no longer string two, three passes together. Awful Hazard, Willian, Schurrle, Oscar. They don't deserve that shit. They don't deserve to be chasing shadows for 90 mins in big games where the WHOLE world is watching. Mourinho seriously needs to do something about his tactics and become more flexible. It's why Roman payed 100's of millions to buy these flair players. He must be pretty upset about what he just watched. Fuck the 1-1 result. That was cowardly football. They outplayed us from start to finish, I admit it. Barbara 15,149
You know how bad a referee is when Felipe Melo plays a match and doesn't get a yellow.I'll come back later with the rest of what I think of this pathetic presentation by our team. I'm supposed to rate our players and write an article on it now. Wish me luck, cos I'll need. Stingray and The Chels
Sidzeret 2,257
Too bad we only got one Azpilicuetta. My MOTM today. Showed great energy and conviction. Fair result IMO. We do have the upper hand going into the Bridge.
Sheva. 5,373
It seems every away game we play for the draw or narrow win. Sure we started a pretty attacking team today, but 2nd half was all hoofball and sit deep. Frustrating.

Bir_CFC 3,455
Should have killed the game in the first 30 mins. I can understand playing on the counter to some extent but how can we be so technically inept that we can't even control possession and put them under pressure? I don't recall a moment we put them under pressure through controlled possession. I guess though that is expected to some extent when you play a pivot of Lampard and Ramires.Good result, bad performance. CHOULO19 24,332
Terrible performance. Utter shit.In the 2nd half we couldnt keep the ball for more than 5 seconds.Mikel for Schurrle? FUCKING RETARDED.And whats the point with subbing Oscar in for 1 minute? Our decisionmaking was utter crap. We are so bad at killing games off. We had them exposed the first 30 minutes. Then we did the same fucking mistake we did against WBA. We sat deep and just defended. So stuipid. You seriously need to relax and back the team after a decent, positive result.

This is the Champions league, a competition the whole world watches. Players, fans of other clubs, journalists, managers, ROMAN. We have left a terrible perception of ourselves again. Was the football really dissimilar to the one that won us the CL? Waiting for your write up. Awful game, awful tactics. Only one team came to play football. It's unacceptable IMO, what we did. Jase 43,479
A 1-1 draw is a decent result in the first leg away from home but it's a tad frustrating. We could and should have killed the game off in the first 30 minutes. Had so many chances on the counter, thanks to Mancini's tactical suicide, but we didn't make it count and all because of our poor passing and indecisiveness in the final third. Played poorly in the second half but didn't look overly threatened and yet still managed to give away such a cheap goal from a corner against a side that was nothing special. Nothing! Terry and Cech were certainly at fault for it; one left his man unmarked and the other didn't come to collect/punch away the ball when he should have. Poor. Also, the referee Carlos Velasco Carballo was quite literally taking the piss. He continued where Lee Probert left off at the weekend; favoring the opposition with his decisions. Every time we make a challenge and a Galatasaray player goes down, it's a free kick but when it's the other way around, nothing was given. Worse of all is that he went card happy for a moment dishing yellow cards on such cheap fouls for us and yet someone like Melo who has been going around making crude challenges on several occasions didn't even get a yellow card. Utterly pathetic showing from the referee! Barbara, Stingray, Mohammed Seif and 1 other
Henrique 9,133
So? Football isnt a linear math equation!United lost 2-0 to Olympiakos, but that doesnt mean they would lose 5-0 to Bayern (probably would, but you get the idea). Just like we drawing 1-1 with Galatasaray doesnt mean we would get trashed by Barcelona...It wasnt a good match, but it is not the end of the world and I think people should learn to appreciate decent results when they come!I'm not worried about the result, or about the tie. I dont see Gala causing us any trouble in SB.I'm worried thats its the 4th game in a row with bad football, Hazard invisible, few chances created.Sadly it wasnt only a band day... Irakozium257 350
A decent result, but whatever you may think, you gotta admit that Cech was the culprit for the goal. It's unbelievable how the f*ck he always is afraid of going all in and jump for the fucking ball when he has the advantage of having a very tall body and long arms. Torres' cowardness is even worse, the dude is both taller and larger than Oscar but Oscar has bigger cojones, it's not even funny anymore. The 2nd half was reminiscent of City FA away. Tactics or not, we shouldn't be playing so cluelessly when the opposition has momentum. I really wish we could resort to tiki-taka as plan B at least instead of that pass pass between the defenders.
