Exactly. We won't find anyone of his class out there for this cheap. We may see United go from having a bang average squad last season to one of the best basically overnight. Top class new manager, Kroos, Shaw, and obviously a few more big signings. We can offer Kroos more than they can currently in footballing terms. CL, better location, top manager, and a team who are much closer to winning things.

Is he really that good? I haven't really watched Bayern's matches outside of Champions League on TV in the last few years and from the matches i've watched he didn't really impress me that much. Yes, his price is cheap, but if you take into account that he wants something ridiculous like 260k per week makes him infact not as cheap as it sounds. Do we really need him that much or is he that good to the point we should bid just so United or some other english club doesen't get him?

Kroos just doesn't suit a counter attacking team like Chelsea! Kroos is only good when his team dominates possession and he has all the time and space in the world to make those Hollywood passes! he is slow and isnt good defensively! He wouldn't be able to have that time and space on the ball in the PL! if he eaves Bayern he should go to teams like Barca, PSG or Juventus where he will get that luxury of playing in a team that has 70-80% possession every week and allow him to have all the time in the world to make his Hollywood passes!

I would much rather Rakitic over Kroos anyday!

I still think he is likely to stay, seems Guardiola wants him to, he's probably just using Utd's interest to force Bayern into agreeing to his demands, without really intending to move. How often do you see top clubs losing their best midfielders to teams who aren't in the CL

Top sides in the PL including ourselves WILL have the majority of possession in most of their games. Think Kroos would adapt very well to this league as long as he has players around him to mask his weaknesses which we have.

We averaged 55% possession last season! Nothing compared to Bayern! Plus the PL is a faster league! And Kroos is only effective when he has time and space on the ball! And he isn't quick like Matic! Teams with pace would be able to counter attack against us a lot easier!

And what will happen when we go to the Etihad or Anfield??? He will likely be dropped for someone who can defend and has pace to counter attack with like Ramires!

I'd rather have an all rounder too, but all of those that are of the class we need would cost double what Kroos would.

I absolutely love watching this lad. Watching v Arsenal in the CL this season was nothing short of a joy to watch. If there is any truth in these rumors to us then we simply must make it happen.
