I wasn't fan girling, I've fully admitted he's been shit....I didn't even mention torres till this guy did, to blame torres for losing the title is beyond me!

You're not a Torres 'fan girl' but after clicking on your twitter the first thing I saw was this:

I really don't want to label anyone of being a 'Player X fangirl' but it's best not to waste your time mate arguing about Torres anymore, especially with a fangirl. Not worth it at all. Never gonna convince them as they seem to be stuck in their fantasy world where Torres is god.

and just to note, I very rarely mention torres, it's other people replying to me when i've said nothing about torres....bringing him up!

Well Jose was the one that sold our best player and loaned our best striker? and never signed one so?

he can be blamed just as much as anyone.

our best player? the one who scored 1 goal in 19 appearance? dont think so!!!

i never said jose dint make a mistake. he did by loaning lukaku. and he definitely did one with not only keeping torres for another season but also trusting him to be the striker with the most minutes. trust in a player who can be of no good ever. in the end, it comes down to the players on the pitch and performance they put on the pitch. and torres along with the other 2 were a major disappointment and hindrance. but most of all torres.

Yes, he was shit...but blaming him alone is ridiculous...it's a team game....! plenty of players haven't pulled their weight this season....namely torres/eto/ba/oscar/hazard at times

In ideal world Jose should replace unfit Mata with fit same quality player.

Mata was sold because he didnt fit in, but that doesnt change fact that we lost best player. We lost quality and it should be replaced with someone equal quality that fits the system.

Billy Meredith and Sir Stanley Mathews

Rare exceptions.

There is a law in statistics that says "the best has yet to come" (also "the worst has yet to come"). That means if you find a man who is 2.40 meters tall, you will one day find another one even taller.

The strikers can't do it past the age of 30, I mean in the role of power forwards.

One of our best, Mimis Papaioannou, played up to 35. Against QPR he performed some of his speedy runs down the left flank and because he was short, the QPR fans were fooled and they were saying "look at that youngster". But he was 34 and his days of glory were behind.

Said to you all there is more slips up, but I also said we had to do our job. After another weekend of dropped points I bet they are kicking themselves hugely because anything can still happen.

The stupid dropped points is a joke.

I don't think you can keep call it "slip ups" when it happens all the time, and not because of bad luck or something.. we're just not good enough. It could have happend a lot more with the football we played most of the season.

If the league finishes as it is then it's probably a fair representation of where we are as a team. City are a team at the peak of their development with an established spine before the season started (Hart, Kompany, Zab, Toure, Silva, Aguero) and Aguero has only started 19 league games for them, missing almost half of them.

We're a team in the process of being built. Coming into the season we probably one had two players who would remain as part of the spine all season long - Cech and Hazard. JT was by no means the player he is now and Cahill didn't lock down that spot until December. Even Ivanovic was used as a CB as much as a right-back last season.

In that sense this season has a fair amount in common with Ranieri's last season in charge....hopefully the comparisons continue.
