Great half-time break for Mourinho, he's done some intense magical shit since we've been so good during the second half.

Just another thing that I'd like to say. During the second half, I think Torres missed a chance, Spurs recovered the ball and went on a counter-attack, but one of our players stopped them by sliding in our half. Was that player Mata? That was my sensation, I couldn't see his number because of the bad quality of my stream.

You can clearly see Mata is working his ass off when he doesn't have the ball; this has definitely come about because Mourinho told him he needs to adapt. Mata is only going to get better under Mourinho - good for Chelsea .

Mata was fantastic, but how many times did you see him in the running as much as he did today? How many times did you see him recovering possesion, running for the ball, helping the defenders? Mourinho knows what he's doing! And this game was the proof.

Same goes for Torres, His attitude improved so much lately. Mourinho is an absolutely astonishing motivator.

Today was great for two reasons:

• Mourinho now knows who his main centre-forward is. Torres all the way.
• He also knows we're a better team with Mata in the side.

It's only the start of the season.

Hazard wasn't that impressive at the start last season except for the first 3 games, and he went off track for quite a while and then when it came January time (his favorite time of the month) he started to play really well.

It's got nothing to do with Mata, and work rate isn't a thing you can base off one game, it's your mentality, he may be able to work hard one game because anyone can work hard, but can he do it every game? Mata is a player, ever player has there own egos and beliefs, it's not guaranteed he's going to be working that hard every game, we've seen players not keep it up.

I just disagree with your point that Hazard needs Mata to perform well, I really don't think that's the case.

Of course Hazard can perform well without Mata playing - not disputing that mate. What I am saying though is that Mata and Hazard bring the best out of each other (it's a vice versa thing).

I basically believe that both create spaces for each other which in turn allows them to perform better.

Let´s to be more with reality of today´s game.

In the first half, not much by Chelsea, lucky not to be down by 2-3 goals, then.

Second half, Mata came on & not to my surprise the team started to play much better. Now, do we still have people here who wants to dispute Mata´s contribution to Chelsea even let him go, as posted here especially by our famous mom from Brazil ?

Had Schurrle scored on his clear chance, Chelsea most likely would have walked out of there with 3 points.

In my view, the team & Jose must wake up asap & start playing Mata, I feel.

Against Hull he did not start.

At Villa he did start and while I agree that he did not play well, so did a lot of other players (e.g Hazard) not play well but still got picked regardless.

He then does not get a chance to prove himself against United, Munich or Everton, and with the exception with parts of the Munich game we played shit.

Then against Basel he does not play until about the 70th minute when we have already conceded and look absolutely clueless. And even though the whole team should share the blame for that awful performances its Mata (despite not starting the game) that gets flak for it.

Fulham again we play crap but just manage to scrap a win due to the fact that Fulham are very poor. So I still think that Jose should be called out for not trying to utilize Mata until now. But I was (in an indirect way I admit) showing gratitude for finally letting Mata do what he does best.
