Said it all summer, he hit his peek and just like Ivanovic you need to sell before declining in value. 

Might produce something good here and there, but I doubt we will get a higher offer for him as the one we had this summer.

He just has a spark here and there. His place in the starting XI is understandable if he can deliver game changing moments, but he doesn't. Being ineffective for large portions of the matches won't suffice.

Needs to be dropped IMO.

He fails to clear the first man when taking the corner multiple times in succession.

He gets the ball in open space, and then decides to just dribble to the middle of nowhere until he is dispossessed.

Knew this was going to happen. 

We keep doing the same mistake again, just like Ivanovic after a time we fall in love and don't move them. 

Same thing is happening with Willian, last season was his peek and instead of move him on and get a nice pay day we fall in love. 

And thus we end up with players like Ivan that decrease in value and quality.

Last season was his 'peak' only because he scored those free kicks. Take that out and he did nothing of note, just like how he always does.

Willian has pace and is hardworking. But that's about it. He has almost next to ZERO intelligence, poor decision making, predictable with the ball and his corners (FFS!).

His speed is a fraud. Why do we always hear that he's fast when he cannot get past the leftback. 

Everytime silly stepovers and cross on the ground which never beats the first man. He's no winger, he doesn't have the mentality for this. Moses should play there. 

He's good on the ball in tight spaces and will fit in the middle. Look at Liverpool, we thought wjnaldum will not fit in midfield but he's working well there, Willian would be even better there.

This is why you don't label a player a FK specialist when they score a few free kicks. I doubt we'll see him banging them in again.

This is why I wanted Cuadrado to stay. Conte is stuck with Willian. Moses isn't good enough and Pedro has been very disappointing.

I've been wanting to see Willian for well over a year. It never happened. It probably never will.

To be honest, I am baffled that none of our managers has ever tried it. Ever since Willian is here, we have had managers that played a CB in the midfield (Luiz) ; a RB at LB (Azpi) ; a CB at RB (Ivanovic) ; a B2B on the right-wing (Ramires) ; a B2B as n°10 (Oscar) ; a winger at LB (Kennedy). Yet none have tried Willian in midfield, which is, quite frankly, a much more obvious choice than all of those aforementioned !!!

Willian is a midfielder that happened to play as a forward solely because he runs fast. He is not a winger nor a forward ; he is useless when playing high on the pitch. His velocity and passing game (which is quite goodish when he has space) are "perfect" for the position of the B2B. Of course we have no concret proof that it would work... But why nobody tried it ? This choice looks way more logical than, for instance, playing Azpilicueta as a left-back ! It is worth a try...

And to be frank, I doubt very much he could be any worse than Oscar and Matic. At least, he would add a lot of athleticism and energy (and somehow "passing ability") into this midfield — it would be a nice change from this slow-and-clueless-as-fuck duo !!!
