ILoveLamp 270
Why would his release clause be 22 million pounds? Why would Atletico do that? Not a clue, is that not actually LESS than they signed him for???Seems too odd to be true...
supporter 3,088
It is really surprising that Atletico de Madrid has only set to him a buyout clause of 22 million contract, but it is also true that Atletico de Madrid is a small club that many players use as a springboard for another big team.Perhaps it was a pact between the two (Atletico and Griezmann), which would be a bargain.Regards. Kun, Falcao, Diego Costa, Filipe were good investments. It's hard to believe they signed such a contract with Griezmann.

It's hard to believe they signed such a contract with Griezmann. Hi friend! To my also I find it difficult to believe that Atletico Madrid have made a mistake so with Griezmann. But recently I read that Jorge Mendes was close to being his representative (of Griezmann). Jorge Mendes makes money with the % from every transfer he does. Maybe Mendes takes Griezmann to Atletico in an operation like Falcao to Monaco and then to Real Madrid (the signing was stopped by his injury). We will have to wait to confirm the news 100% to see what happens with him. But I trust El Confidencial.Regards. nyikolajevics
nadavTKL 1,787
Since he's not a "creator", and not a player who'll contirbute in creating possession, i would take him only if we already have Pogba/Koke. I havent seen him enough in those areas on the pitch to say if he's a lot better on the ball than Schurlle or Cuadrado. kellzfresh and Sheva.

Spike 12,049
If we somehow get Griezmann this summer, I'll jump into the bandwagon and make my hairstyle like his. #GriezmanniaIt's as if you want me to question your sexuality again. Chelsea Legend 11 4,062
My question is where does he play? I'm struggling to see a scenario where Jose buys a striker who is under 176cm. He won't play on the left and hasn't played on the right... I think is bullshit.

Haha, no Greasy man for you guyz.If they appeal it they wouldn't have to serve the ban immediately , just like Barca. OneMoSalah 8,886
Not a creator? The guy is more of a goal scorer but hes hardly unable to create chances, he played on the wing for France at the WC and through the majority of his career, wingers primarily create chances apart from Ronaldo these days. Gilvorak 3,734
I was against signing Griezmann but I'm starting to warm up to the idea of singing him now. He could be our Neymar. Not a creator? Come on Ronaldo is far more creative than Griezmann.
LAM09 7,062
He's a good player, but I can't see a place for him here. I would like us to a sign a winger who stays at the byline and crosses more often than not. Having said that, there aren't many around.
