this game is set up brilliantly now. would be interesting to see how tottenham approach this game. would they attack from the word go putting in defoe, adebayor, bale and lennon from the start or would avb approach this normally. personally i feel that tottenham would come all guns blazing and we would have to be very careful in the 1st 20-25 minutes. hazard would be essential as his speed vs ekotto would be a big advantage for us and we could easily hit them on the counters. azpi would have to be at his best and play the way he played against united to keep bale in check.

we have a big-major advantage but in no way is the CL spot guaranteed with our win against united. we need to treat this one as another final and give it our all.

ba should start, his hold up play against united was brilliant and we would need him to do something similar against tottenham when pinging long balls from the defense, also he would get more purchase than he got against vidic.

Someone break Gareth Bale then we can win easily :Goober:. No Dembele for them either so we've got a decent chance to dominate the MF if Lampard and Rami play. Just hoping AVB goes all gun-ho and we destroy them on the counter via Benayoun and Moses :Goober: cough I meant Ferreira and Torres cough Hazard and Oscar.

One important thing we have to do here; DO NOT LET BALE SHOOT FROM DISTANCE!

The amount of times he has been given the time and space to shoot and score from the middle by oppositions have been ridiculous. We can't give him that. Otherwise, we'll be in massive trouble!

And personally, I'm not sure about playing Lampard in the pivot for this one. He's not exactly comfortable when the opposition starts to press him preventing him time and space to operate, which many have pointed out before but then again we don't have lots of option to play in there. Just do not want to see Luiz in there. Would prefer to have him in CB for this one because he's our main CB that actually can be proactive and steps out to make challenges or intercept a ball in the space in front of the back 4, especially if Bale (or any other fellas) break past our pivot to get into that position and wanting to shoot from there. Having a pairing from Ivanovic, Cahill or Terry at CB will be asking for trouble as they are the kind of defenders who will back off when players run at them, almost inviting them to shoot and wait till they get into the box before tackling them. A recipe for disaster that. Play Luiz with either 1 of them at CB.

the problem is, u have to leave some space not to be skipped past on the other hand u have to keep tight on him so he can not shoot. Bale has to be doubled everytime he enters the final third, this will require a lot of extra running.

In this kind of game we really could use Romeu, cos we have to keep the middle tight, which Mikel and Lamps are not exactly specialists at. But he probably is not ready yet.

Going to the Bridge for this one... Shed End Lower try and catch me by the corner flag! Can't wait I'm pumped! Lets have these cunts!

I'm blaming you if Chelsea lose. I swear to god I'll be in Cardiff/Birmingham within a week if it happens. Then I'll be waiting for you in the Netherlands.

The team looked a bit jaded yesterday. Need a bit of freshness for Spurs.

Is there any way for bales partner to get pregnant and goto labour room within 3days.

Haha, I'm afraid that card can only be played once. A man can dream though, maybe he has extra marital affairs we don't know of...

Azpilicueta and Ramires team up on the right side should be enough to contain Bale
