I reckon it will be Mata, Oscar and Hazard for sure I would like to see him start but doubt it. Rafa will play his best team available IMO

It's somewhat humourous to me that we dropped points away to Swansea in the league after playing our main guys for up to 120 minutes in the preceding game against Man United in the Coca Cola Cup.

Now we're going to play them again for 90 minutes before a tough league game against Stoke?????

:banghead: :lol2:

Funny :)

Haha! Tongue in cheek moment. But you get the point. BA should not be starting 3 matches in a row when the whole world keeps talking about his knees. Also if Torres starts against Stoke, i fear for him. People like Walters would eat hi alive and won't even burp. :P

I kinda agree, but I cannot be positive towards anything that includes Torres. :) However I would like for Hazard to play behind him this game, mata on the left, marin perhaps as rw and oscar in the pivot with rami or luiz.

I guess Benitez prefers a winger who trackbacks which was a prime reason that Moses started all these matches. Marin isn't really good at defending, is he? Ramires could be the one starting at RW untill Moses comes back.

Yeah, but I just have a feeling that we need to really go out there, play attacking football to win this game. I honestly think that Swansea might beat us, or draw-lose, otherwise.

We don't know which Swansea will turn up. In their match against Arsenal, they were brilliant in the first half but god knows what happened in the 2nd half, They just couldn't clear the ball and with all due respect, you don't have to do much to clear the ball against Arsenal but Swansea were shambolic at times. So if that thing happens again, i expect Chelsea to win by a good margin.

It's like people want Marin starting *just* because he's Marin lol. Whenever he's played for us, has he improved the team? Has he made it look more likely that we'll be the winning side? For me - No. Why would you guys want to keep starting a player who doesn't positively add to the team? "HE HAZ PACE" no. He has good acceleration coupled with quite awful agility lol. This isn't Fifa or Football Manager where it takes '90 minutes in the side vs. a cup side' to 'unlock dat Messi potential'.

I assume Ferda is starting tonight. Perhaps, he just might play better & score. Although, I would not bet my house on it.

As for Marin, I too am a bit puzzled to read all these comments to see him in the line-up. I wish him well, however I am not sure of his ability. So far, I have not seen much of it.

Pretty sure we'll win this easily.
Funny. That's what most people said against QPR and look what happened.

Lets not forget that Swansea went to the Emirates not too long ago where they outplayed Arsenal and won 2-0. And though they didn't create much in away games against Man City and Spurs, they only lost 1-0 in both games. Heck, they even won 3-1 against Liverpool at Anfield in the League Cup earlier this season. So, we cannot underestimate them one bit!

Never underestimate an EPL side......hasn't underestimating opponents at times landed us in this situation in the first place?

I bet we're going to have a strong starting eleven, with Torres, Mata and Hazard to start.

Oscar and Ba on the bench.

The final score - 3-1 to Chelsea.

I think Oscar will more than likely start with Moses gone to ACON.
