He was okay today. But to say he played very well... And if you're satisfied with this performance, I guess you're expectations for this club aren't really high. Because this isn't with this type of performance he will lead us to the Champions League glory.

Although he looked good today, I still am convinced that he will never return to his old form and that he has no future at Chelsea. I can see him scoring here and there while Drogba is away, but once Drogba is back he will continue to warm the bench and he will then be sold in the summer.

It's sad, but it's reality. Torres is gone.

how many shots on goal and chances did he have today? did he attempt forward runs? I remember (while I was awake) that a few of the players tried searching him with through balls, but he didn't make the run or the pass was shit. I also remember the chested chance. I read that he was anonymous at the end when we were pushing for the winner... is it true?

because we paid them a bunch of jack & he hasn't produced for us. He is trying to undermine our positive play :P Seriously though, I see magic w/ him & Mata. A partnership that will create goals for us in the future...I still believe in El Nino!!!

Really agree with the Mata thing. Mata seems hell-bent on setting Torres up and whenever Mata gets the ball near him he springs into life and knows that a chance will come and that Mata will give him the ball.

Vice versa as well. Torres has setup two Mata goals. That one yesterday was a nice effort from Torres. We failed to recognize it, because it happened out of nothing really.

In the style of biggest NBA swaps, in January transfer window there is also coming football one - possibly swap of the century. According to spanish newspaper El Mundo Deportivo Chelsea will swap Fernando Torres for three talents of Barcelona - Sergi Roberto, Isaac Cuenca and Martin Montoya.

"Barça and Chelsea have completed a deal, which will surely be the biggest in January transfer window. Fernando Torres which still hasn't found his form at Stamford Bridge will come to Camp Nou in next few hours. Meanwhile, three talents of Blaguarana - Martin Montoya, Sergi Roberto and Isaac Cuenca will follow Oriol Romeu and arrive in London next Saturday, on 31st of December.

Newspaper also claims that Andre Villas-Boas got this idea after David Villa's leg was broken. Chelsea manager firstly wanted Montoya, Roberto and Pedro, but it looks like that he will get Cuenca, not Pedro. Michael Emenelo has already spoken with Pep Guardiola at the secret meeting in Brescia. It is known Guardiola is fan of "El Nino" for many years.

Torres is still struggeling to find his form Liverpool. After record 50 million transfer he scored only 5 goals for London team. There were also rumours that he could return to his first club, Atletico Madrid, but ti looks like he will wear Barcelona's shirt until July of 2012. Although, it's hard to convince three youngsters to come to Chelsea. This was taken in Oriol Romeu's hands and he tried to convince his former team-mates. This trio should be present already at match against Aston Villa on 31st of December.
