Naked Mole Rat 437
He's had a fine game and scored a goal, so I can't complain too much, but if he'd squandered half as many chances this season as he has, he'd have scored around 8 goals already. His game's definitely improved, though. He generally looks more lively now, makes better runs and is stronger on the ball.
Ollie 4,400
The amount of times he goes through then tries to cut inside giving the defender a chance to get back is frustrating beyond belief. I wish he'd just hit the fucking thing! This happens so often. He coulda got 3 today, at least he's getting in those positions. chelseathebest and warnie_666
termninja 5,290
I still believe he can do much better, but a goal is a goal which is his job in the end. Just keep banging them in lad, rest will come naturally Also this, top forwards in the PL from EA
Popular Post! The Skipper 20,609 Posted October 6, 2012 Popular Post! Share Posted October 6, 2012 He's having a decent season so far, really don't see why people feel the need to hang on to the past and use that as a reason to chastise him. New season, new Torres. jmarlow, .Cee, zolayes and 2 others

Kinol 337
Torres positioning has obviously become better in the last few games but then again it could be because we've recently played more creative players around him. If fans want falcao I can understand but cavani? plssss wat are u thinking??? While falcao is a great individual striker I stll think without torres link up play our other players might not score as much and his forward pressing is very good. These two qualities I think falcao and cavani don't possess as much as torres. To cut it shot falcao and cavani might be better goal scorers but torres is a better team player something our coach has always stressed. If we want someone to press upfront, why dont we just but Ramires as a CF and let him run and press all night long, and if we want someone who can link up well with the others we can put Hazard there and have Moses, Oscar and Mata behind him.The thing im trying to tell you is that we have a striker mainly because we want those major striker attributes in our teams, some which i think Torres lacks. DH1988 1,348
Sorry guys I was under the impression that our striker was scoring goals and our front 4 were performing excellently together after playing only a handful of games together? Ah.. right.. forget that did we
KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
Would like to see him converting more of his chances. Playing well and he could be even better if he takes 1 or 2 more chances a game.

Spike 12,049
Well he keeps scoring so I'm happy with him. If he doesn't do anything stupid like miss an open net, get suspended or get injured he'll keep on slowly building up his goal tally. RamiCFC9 258
Can't believe the standart is set so low at the moment.Scoring this goal was the very least he could've done this game, since he had about 2-3 more chances. Not to mention how much times he lost the ball and failed to linkup. DavidEU 2,023
Hes gone up a level this season, for sure. But hes still got to go up one or two more for me. Hes shown he can work hard and improve though, so lets hope by the new year he can continue to do so and we get the very best from him. Every Chelsea fan is desperate to see him really explode. He got a lot of stick for the chance he missed in the second half, but credit should be given to John Ruddy, it was a fine save. The 1 on 1 in the first few minutes, thats where he needs to improve, and thats where I'd imagine us being far more lethal and clinical if Falcao was our number nine. Finishing those kinda chances against the big boys of this league could be the difference between winning this title or not. chelseathebest

kellzfresh 7,229
You have to train with david villa and soldaldo on how to finish one on one chances with the keeper.your next missed chance against manutd or tottenham might be the only clear chance we get. Please beg david villa to teach u how to finish keepers in this international break

Torres has struggled at chelsea but now he is scoring goals sme people don't know better but to be sacarstic. Every one wants falcao but who is to say he will not faulter like sheva or initially torres. Note: sheva is one of the all time greats in champions league history and torres has wrecked havoc on just about every big club or country there is. What I am saying is we shuld not go for already made strikers anymore but build on what we have I.e sturridge and lukaku and if at all we need a good striker we shuld not pay over the odds. At the moment chelsea is as creative as we can hope for so falcao has nothing new to offer us even if he is more prolific than torres as we have sturridge who is also very prolific.
