Fernando Torres

He's won more trophies for us just by sitting on the bench. I did feel a bit sorry for him but he'll have his time in the limelight and he will be the man eventually. He's got time.

“just sitting on the bench" is a little bit harsh, he played nearly every fa-cup game before the one against tottenham at wembley. Only in birmingham (at home) he made place for Drogba at halftime.

I think he has contributed enough to earn the medal

Torres was great for us in the FA cup, and it's a pitty he didn't get an appearance in the final.

He'll have his magic moments in Munich, don't worry.

Yes I hope he does too but there's no way I would pick Torres over Drogba for the center forward role.

I suppose Torres will receive a hell of a lot of abuse at Anfield tonight. Hope he responds well.

Also, it would be interesting whether he'll celebrate a goal. Scoring in front of the Kop, that would be pure epicness.

I just hope he doesn't get injured tonight.Any rash tackles by Agger or other former team mates should be immediately penalized.

Any1 having a gutt feeling that he will absolutely fire the Euro?I mean i've never seen him play with such desire to prove himself again and the fact that he isn't tired at all, and with the teammates he is going to play.I can see him firing the roof.

In all honesty, he shouldn't make the plane.

It all a matter of expextations. that aside, Torres is one of the best strikers in modern football, but the focus of the amount of goals scored takes away from the other positive things he does each game (movement, teamplay and assisted goals). The man is quality!!

True but at the end of the day, he's a striker and we bought him as that. IF he doesn't put the ball into the back of the net regularly, the spotlight will always be on him.
