warnie_666 1,081
6 goals in 10 games this season. Not sure why people are criticizing him
Milan 17,956
lol after the header gainst Wolves (in Drogba's style) it is funny to continue in that way - what Drogba can do, Torres can do as well - scoring against Arsenal lol.His best performance in Chelsea shirt. Just a pity he never shot when he was 1 against 1 and chose going round Mannone. But we won, that's what matters.
Kojo 4,676
Just waiting on everyone going like he's back and then saying 'so he can't be our striker then?'...Take that goal way from him, it's a poor performance, he kept ruining every bit of play we had.But i was very proud of that goal, that's the first goal Torres has scored for us out of nothing, forget about the sky panel going on about Arsenals terrible defending, that goal was very hard to score, he did really well to get his leg over and smack it in with such accuracy. So well done to him there, but i don't believe anything, he has to prove it. chelseathebest, Amblève. and BleedsBlue

He was excellent all round (fluffed one v one aside), leading the line with the confidence and defiance of Drogba, closing down, tracking back, winning headers, linking up well with the midfield runners. 9/10 for me. BleedsBlue 1,549
This was not the glorious Torres so often seen at Anfield, nor was it the limp and desolate Torres witnessed so often by Chelsea fans. It was somewhere in between but, as long as he scores more goals in big matches like this one, the doubters cannot talk too loudly.Brilliantly summed up by Goal.com
Blue-in-me-Veins 4,067
5 goals in 10 games,,, dont know about you folks but thats striker worthy. had great game today, wish studge was healthy so he could have given him a rest but he put in a real shift today. no need to to criticize him. termninja 5,290
Credit where credit is due, he did well. Shame about that 1on1 But this is what I want to see from him,to inspire our victories not depend on how well others play.
Las7 951
Great first half I though, was poor in the second half - but overall I'm very pleased with his performance tonight. He scored a crucial goal finally for the Blues and needs to keep scoring if he is to justify his automatic selection in our team. Rmpr 8,977
Torres goal was excellent. Great read of the cross and the defender. He still loses the ball too many times and lacks confidence to shoot (1v1), impressed with his attitude though! Cosmin 2,484
His performance was good today, but not even close to a great one.He lost the ball several times, he was again on the wing most of the time, but the nice goal, the attitude (specially in the last minutes) and some decent runs saved the day for him.Anyway, this should buy himself some confidence. AndersonBLUE 819
I was screaming for him just to shoot 1 on 1 and on that 4v4 break towards the end. He also lost it a few times but showed energy to win the ball back, so overall a good performance today (good goal too).
Steve 10,227
Very good game from him today. Credit where credit is due and today he deserves it. An all round god performance and hopefully it continues! Henrique
Jase 43,479
Fair play to Torres today. Worked extremely hard from back to front and won lots of headers too. Just need to show more consistency!
Sheva. 5,373
His work-rate was great, but last season he had games like that and didn't score and got slated. But today he did the most important thing and put the ball in the net, well done to him. Leading the line?, been listening to way too much Jamie Redknapp mate.He wasn't very good at all, but go on and believe he's back as most deluded people do.People convinced so easily it's scary. chelseathebest
