🇪🇸 Fernando Torres

Reminded me of Inzaghi yesterday, and not in a good way :P Don't think I've seen one man offside this many times in one match since the Italian was still playing 90 mins

Hmm it's the way Spain play - they could pass but decide another few short ones will do - it must be so frustrating as a forward.

Personally Spain drive me mad and I do not enjoy watching them...

Am I the only one that thinks Fernando talks a bit much to the media?

Still, nice of him to come out and say things like that full of confidence.

I wish him all the best, but if he fails to impress this season he must he sold while we can still return some money of his purchase.

Can't blame the guy he's trying to set his bar. Although we probably have to accept that he's not got the speed like the times at Liverpool, I believe when hit form he's gonna get us +20 goals a season

(that's if he doesnt get injured..*fingers crossed* we only have torres & sturridge and please don't make us rely on sturridge)

So, this place was full of "it doens't matter how he does in the Euros, because he has to score goals for Chelsea and not Spain" before the Euros.

Now, you are all over on him because he couldn't score against KSA in 50 minutes for Spain in a match that couldn't have been any more pointless.

Yes, he wasn't good, screwed up a couple of chances but if the European Championship didn't matter, a friendly against KSA why does?

Stupid opinion.

It's not necessarily stupid, but I tend to not agree with it as well.

The problem is, there are so many double standards, both from those who support him, and even from those who criticise him.

Most CFC fans are both.

Im critical of his performances since joining the club but it doesn't mean i don't support him. Ofcourse i want him to come back to form and do well, but not at the expense of Chelsea doing the same.

If it came to a choice of Torres or Chelsea, then there is only one winner.
