I didn't say the Premier League is the best league - I said it's one of the best. Bale went to La Liga from this league, he didn't go to the French leagues which is more related to the point I'm making.

Here's my view - PSG is going to be a tough tie but I think we're a good enough team with a great enough manager to beat them without anyone batting an eyelid. They have some good players who have gone to a team that pays well but we have top players who want to challenge themselves in one of the top leagues in world football.

History, silverware, fan base, financial power, local and national reputation, recent performances and achievements are some of the things that are used to classify teams. Barca is definitely not a 2nd tier team. You really need to know what you are talking about.

Having said that, again PSG are not a bad side like I said before, but you cannot compare them to Barca, Bayern and RM. If they maintain stability for a few years and win international trophies then you can. Up till now, they are nothing but a team, with some good players and the owner is pouring money. People are acting as if we've drawn Bayern. PSG have a lot of talent, but they play in a second-tier league and haven't had to face a single good team in the CL yet this year. They have a lot of good players but also a lot of players that overrated by fans (Marquinhos, Lucas Moura, Pastore ) based on what they've actually accomplished.. That and I think they fit very well to Mourinho's sort of game plan. They are a team that likes to attack and, don't have a very good defence, and are not used to facing talented teams. We could easily lose of course. They are a talented team and we're not where we need to be in terms of consistancy and talent but this is still a positive draw for us compared to what we could have faced.
