didierforever 7,349
As I said, when he said it, it´s irrelevant now. Leave it alone. Real will not suit Chelsea. They have too much power up front.U brought it up and now want it to be left alone!!!!Fire power upront but defensively the worst of the 4 remaining teams

No, it is not. It happened. Do not dwell on it. Now, the best defense is the relentless attack & Real has got that.Ronaldo´s free kicks are the best around. Chelsea´s struggled, plenty of chaos on defense. You believe Chelsea can overcome Real´s defensive liabilities. I believe, Real has got too much power & scores at will.To avoid any quarrels, let´s wait & see. On Friday we will know whom Chelsea draws. chelsea blue 615
The Premier League is likely to move Chelsea's potential Premier League title decider with Liverpool later this month after the Londoners's progress into the Champions League semi-finals throw up a fixture nightmare. The first leg of the Champions League semi-final is due to be played in less than a fortnight. Ahead of the second leg, they are due at Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday April 27, although this could now take place on April 26.Chelsea will play one of their semi-final games on a Tuesday and one on a Wednesday. The draw for the semi-finals will take place on Friday. The Premier League will ensure that they do not have to play on a Sunday and then 48 hours later on a Tuesday, meaning the match with Sunderland on April 20 could also be moved forward a day. Popular Post! Mohammed Seif 1,451 Posted April 10, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted April 10, 2014 Like I said immediately after the PSG game, I frankly don't care who we meet. On paper these teams are good and better than us. But I think most of us learned that what is on paper doesn't matter. PSG, a very strong offensive team, loves ball possession.....etc, but in both Away and Home legs WE MADE THEM LOOK ORDINARY.Now I agree with some people's analysis about what this team's style is and what that team's system is, but if you think about it, it really doesn't matter. For us to win our game we will need to force OUR system, OUR tempo and OUR style, just like we did and have done in previous matches. We are not going to sit back and watch them play their game by any means.Additionally if, let us say hypothetically, team X is the toughest and we would rather not meet them in the semis. We still might end up meeting them in the final!! There will be no second chances, no Bridge and still we would have to beat them to be champions. My point is, at this stage we really shouldn't care, or fear any team. I am not disrespecting them by any means, but at this stage it is about who wants it more and he is clever enough to know how to take it. We have a brilliant tactician, and we have TRUE MEN WITH HEART whom I trust will be giving everything they have to win.Again, to be the best, you have to beat the best. I don't know if the best right now is Madrid, Bayern, or Atletico. What I know is that Chelsea has to beat them to be no1 in Europe. This is how I see it, but as always I respect everyone's opinion. duren batu, kellzfresh, Muzchap and 2 others

Strike 7,489
Experience doesn't really matter that much, Barcelona are far more experienced than Atletico in the CL QF, where did that bring them?Experience also cost PSG, Napoli 2 years ago Barbara
Strike 7,489
ATM is a BETTER team than RM. they have proven that in LA LIGA, CL, in the matches they played against barca and RM this season. hence the "lets avoid ATM" posts. moreover chelsea and ATM tie would be a defensive stalemate which would be decided on a moment of magic or a setpiece.we have a way better chance against RM who are weak defensively. moreover jose would know each of those players inside out and play accordingly. the first part, i get it but i wouldn't go so far as to say I would take Bayern or Real over Atletico
Viper22 2,418
Once again, I'd like to face Atletico, purely to see the reception Courtios gets at the Bridge and to watch both him and Costa more closely for a game. 40,000 odd scouts can't be a bad thing right? Fernando 6,585
After reading about the Courtois clause I want to play Atlético now. That's some good money to get for two games if Atlético pays. Well done Chelsea board. :-)
bushman 2,043
Atletico is not willing to pay around 8m to play Courtois. Way too much for the club. Therefore, he won´t play against Chelsea.Still Atletico is too hungry & playing well. For my choice, I would like Bayern. Chelsea can knock their tikitaka shit, I feel. mediator 2,026
NO RONALDO FOR REAL MADRID. That's our chance.Ancelotti said ahead of Saturday's visit of Almeria, per the club'sofficial website:Cristiano was fine, we didn't want to risk him, because of the intensity of the tie, and we didn't have to. Hopefully he's better soon and he is ready for the semi-final. It's not a big problem because if it were, he wouldn't have been on the bench. He has time to recover and could play on Saturday. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2015218-cristiano-ronaldo-injury-updates-on-real-madrid-stars-knee-and-return
