Benitez is not in the same class as Jose ,look at the way he has marginalised Frank ,he can be thankful that Frank is such a great Chelsea man and pro he could be bothered to get the waiter out of jail, because I would have not played for him had he treated me the way he has treated Frank .

talking about double standards on here, lets take the 2 scenarios of this game and the last game.

tottenham - torres was hopeless (dint make the sub), rambo and luiz hopelessly tired (dint change). when it was suggested that the changes should have been made at the 60-70 minute mark, people said it was only a case of IFS and it was barely FSW's mistake.

villa - makes the most obvious EARLY change to benefit us because of which the match changes - so he should be given the whole credit.

in short i will give him the credit to today's game if he owns up to the screw up of tottenham match.

Ramires got sent off. You don't leave Lampard alone in midfield against Aston Villa's youthful midfielders who can run for days.

You look at your bench. Luiz is the most capable one of playing in midfield, therefore you put him in next to Lampard for Moses who was our most ineffective attacking player.

It's common sense, it wasn't a tactical masterstroke. Don't know why you're praising him so much for it.

But just to be one of the few like I said, I'm not going to respect him till we are definitely top 4 and we have won the Europa, because that's minumum standards of this season for me.

I didn't have time to tune in to Chelsea TV, I was coming home from the game where I discussed it with fellow Chelsea fans who were saying the exact same thing. I can't even be bothered with you, how the hell would it even be logical to bring on Benayoun? LOL. Are we really going down that route now? Praising a manager when he hasn't done something dumb? Just going to try my hardest to ignore most of the crap you sprout.

Pretty much what I think.

When he came in, it was a pretty shitty moment for us. I said at the time, and various times since, that this is about as bad as it gets for us Chelsea fans nowadays. If the season could've ended when Rafa was appointed and we were top four then I'd have been happy.

He's done that. I don't hate him as much as others but I've had my moments, quite recently in fact. But we've got there and now he can go.

He's left us in a decent position and we've hopefully got Jose coming back. He's given us some good moments and he handled the four games in about 11 days better than anyone probably expected, but he also gave us some embarrassing losses and missed opportunities.

So well done Rafa on being just about average. Please don't slag us off when you go, but don't feel the need to come back. You were paid to do a job and broadly speaking you've achieved the most important thing. Let this be a warning to future generations of what can happen when you don't plan for the future properly.

I hope we win on Wednesday and I hope he doesn't get booed again this season. We've got a nice new kit, a nice new manager and a whole new set of trophies to go for.
