Going with a 4-2-3-1 would be suicidal against the Citizens. If I was Rafa, I'd have gone with the 4-4-2.

Azpi-Iva-Luiz-Bertrand

Hazard-Ramires-Oscar-Mata

Ba - Torres

I can't see this team losing :P

We'd get shredded if we played this team.

We'd get raped if we'd play mikel in the double pivot shit :P .

Plus, we are so predictable, Let's surprise those muthafucka starting Torres and Ba together and see how things goes .

If I be nuetral for a second, I don't see a chance of us winning lol. But we can atleast give them a mini heartattack by trying something new :P

That's exactly the team i would go for. Could even use Rami as RM... seriously.

Ramires was useless at RM/RW against City in the league game.

We lack a proper winger: Moses is still a work in project, Ramires isn't a winger and Oscar doesn't look comfortable out wide.

We'll put a good fight against City but with their fresher legs, they'll win 3-1.

I personally have high hopes we can win. Something magical about the Fa Cup and wembly and it has worked in our favor and always pushed our players for top performances.

This is bad, when you had very low hopes we knocked Manure out... :Goober:

Silva was forced off late in Monday's 2-1 derby win over Manchester United and manager Roberto Mancini fears the Spaniard will not recover in time to face Chelsea at Wembley.

"I think it is a hamstring injury. Maybe it is not so bad but I don't think he will be ready for Chelsea," said the Italian.

This is great news, improves our chances to win the game tenfold.

Same line-up as the Man Utd Replay. That is our most 'solid' XI imo. Ivanovic and Luiz have conceded just 2 goals in the 6 games they've paired up keeping 4 cleansheets including Man Utd and Man City. As good as Terry is, he'll be uncomfortable with forwards like Tevez and Aguero

Cech

Azpilicueta Ivanovic Luiz Bertrand

Mikel Ramires

Oscar Mata Hazard

Ba

Bench: Turnbull Terry, Cahill, Lampard, Moses, Marin, Torres

Ba and Torres upfront maybe? a 442 is worth experimenting

Don't see the point in this. Why should we play a formation that forces our two best players (Mata & Hazard) to play out of position just to accomodate a Torres-Ba partnership up front? Doesn't make much sense.
