I'm going and staying, but we anticipated this and booked train tickets for the Saturday, and staying two nights until the Monday. Just means we can hit the bank holiday night on the beers!

On the topic of this whole losing tomorrow night, I think I speak for a fair few when I say I never want Chelsea to lose, I can't believe some people on here are saying that. These players are getting paid fortunes to play football. I'd happily play two games in 48 hours for 10k.

It doesn't matter how much they earn. You have to take into account the rigours of professional football at the highest level, how much our players have already played this season, the small squad that we have and what qualifying for the Champions League means to our business model and players in the long-term. You're not looking at the bigger picture.

When you take all of that into account the poxy Europa League is so far down the list of priorities it's practically worthless.

We should NEVER have to abandon any competitions because of a fixture pile up, we're all guilty of saying for years that we have the quality in our youth side, well now's the big chance to give these kids a chance to make a name for themselves... with the right mix of youth and experience who knows whats possible?? we all seem to forget where we've come from pre-Roman all too often... 10-15 years ago we'd have given an arm to be in a position like we are now.
