Pizy 18,896
I see he's already changed his twitter to "Oscar8"I really, really hope Oscar takes that huge step up we all want to see. We need him to be in top form and has the potential to be our most important player. xPetrCechx

Sir Mikel OBE 4,920
I see he's already changed his twitter to "Oscar8"I really, really hope Oscar takes that huge step up we all want to see. We need him to be in top form and has the potential to be our most important player. To be fair even if he blows hot and mostly cold like last year I think we should have enough to get a trophy. 10 goals between him,Willian, and Salah will serve us well as long as Fabregas is the same as the one we saw at Arsenal, and Hazard/Schurrle and Costa are what they have shown to be. Term-X 7,891
Am I the only who doesn't care what number our players have? The club you support disagree with you."Official shirts can be exchanged with proof of purchase" Who the fuck keeps a receipt ?If buying online you could quote the order number, but yea.. Hutcho 8,443
Lampard was great and it had sweet FA to do with his number. Yeah he has had it for so long. But i will remember and love the things he did for us in a Chelsea shirt and not for the number on the back.Oscar is wearing an Oscar 8 shirt, not a Lampard 8 one as far as i know.I hope Oscar does as well as i would if he had any other shirt number. Pizy 18,896
I don't think 12-15 league goals from Oscar is unreasonable to expect this season. If he can add double digit assists too it would be a very nice season. If he has another season like last then I think we should be looking for a new #10 next summer. LukakutoStamford 779
Unless it's against the rules why doesn't Chelsea put Lampard's tenure and his name in small print on the jersey?

nadavTKL 1,787
Is it in honour of how many good matches he had last season?Which one of them do you like? Schurrle? did he had more good matches than Oscar?
Special Juan 28,141
Would love to see this lad kick on now this season, opinion is divided on him…the lad can do better and i think he can.I'm just not ready to throw in the towel just yet on the boy. But I still stand by that it is a huge season for him and Willian this year.Hope they both produce. The Skipper
Eidur the Spider 4,515
Huge responsibility for the lad, no matter whether you believe numbers are important or not, the club and the players do and hopefully this will be a little extra driving force to kick Oscar on to be a lot more consistent. I was getting slightly irritated with him during the end of last season but hopefully that was just burnout. I was far and away more impressed with his performances for Brazil. Although the team themselves didn't cover themselves in glory, he was easily their best. So good luck Oscar, he has many years ahead of him and hopefully his finest form as a blue! Chelsea's new number 8!! seanptmiller
