Jase 43,479
He's only just turned 21, playing in a league 10 times more physical than the one he is used to and due to his arrival from the Brazillian league he already played way more games than anyone else (I think). He's clearly going to be a top top player. Some of you lot are so impatient.Just to clarify, I'm not impatient with him or anything. He has the potential to be a world class player.Just think he can do a little bit more whenever he gets on the ball at the moment.

TorontoChelsea 4,064
against shaktar he was shit and had the luck he has the ball on himNot true. He was very poor in the away game and got a late goal but in the home game, he was our MOTM against them. It wasn't just the goal, he played very well. He was also fantastic at home against Juve scoring a beautiful goal and marking Pirlo excellently. teignman
Superblue 6,372
The problem that Oscar and Hazard have faced is that we are expecting them to instantly perform because Mata managed to do it.However Mata was 23 when he joined with a lot of experience playing in one of the strong leagues and Champions League football. He also developed playing with the likes of Silva and Villa, before a season as Valencia's talisman.Oscar and Hazard must be given time, I'm almost certain they'll develop into massive players for us over the next few years. Fulham Broadway 17,314
Not sure Oscar needs that much more time tbh. Yes he will improve, but he bosses it for Brazil -but now we have a glut of Scouse-reject double agents undermining our club... CUNTS!!!... Oscar to my mind, is being played almost as a luxury player, -he should be taking corners and set pieces, or at least given a chance at some. When RDM threw him into the Juve game he was at the top of his game -now the fat waiter is slowly destroying him ChelseaChelsea, Barbara, Dion and 1 other
DDA 9,939
Oscar has gone of the boil a little bit with his contribution on the ball but that was to be expected after such a great start for us in all competative competitions. We can all agree that he is obviously an immense talent and after a few more sessions in gym I reckon we can expect a beast for next season. Zone 290
The way he glides through midfield sometimes is a beautiful sight and all these doubters wouldn't be here if we had someone finishing off the chances he created the last couple of games. He's an amazing talent and I'm glad we have him on a 5 year contract. GermanBlue 82
I think he has to strengthen his body to get more out of his own potential. Look at Mata or Hazard, they're both approx. as small as Oscar, but they both seem to be more able to push their way through the defensive lines. I'm not impatient with him or anything, just pointing out what he's lacking atm IMO. It's his first season in a top league with 2 matches a week, it's normal he needs some time to adapt. He did that quite well though, but we could not have expected him to continue with these performances. We just have to be patient, in 3-4 years our team will be massive with an attacking midfield consisting of developed Hazard and Oscar and a Mata on top of his carrier. flyll 5
Oscar is so brilliant and the fact that he's only 21 is incredible. Some players havent even reached his level in their 30's.! He's a superstar!
termninja 5,290
Gotta say I'm a bit disappointed with his playmaking ability. He somehow fails to impose himself and make our team tick. His passing also disappointed me a few times, though still I feel he has done pretty well since he came considering his age and the jump in the league he took. His work rate is extraordinary though. DH1988 1,348
Likewise, seen glimpses so far but Rafa is right, definitely should not be starting most/many matches.I really don't think he is suited to the EPL btw, time will tell but thats my opinion

Dion 2,476
I think Oscar's problem is beyond adaptation to EPL. I mean, he's massive for Brazil even against strong opposition. I feel that he's been misused a bit. He has way less freedom in Chelsea, he drifts a lot across the field for Brazil and that's when he shines.Besides that, I've seen Oscar creating a lot of chances which have gone to waste because we lack a proper finisher. I feel his assists should be way higher than they are right now. Heisenberg and Barbara
