yuvala 2,167
And keep in mind that PSG can afford Torres' wages!A swap Ibra - Torres would be great for both teams if Ibra want to leaveHaha how is that a good deal for PSG ?
The only place to be 11,313
I'm guessing about £20-25 million. Perhaps a bit pricey for someone we will only use for a maximum of about 3 seasons and who is getting on the wrong side of 30.However his talent is undeniable. Definitely World Class. If we missed out on Cavani there isn't really anyone left other, than Ibra, who is1) Attainable2) World Class (Will make an immediate impact)3) Can play in our systemPlus if you're a Lukaku advocate, Ibra won't hinder his career at Chelsea too much. Also, the things I mentioned in my previous post, such as being a real winner, strong character, wanting to play under Mourinho and win a CL etc. Taking all this into account, he would and should be, taking all things and circumstances into consideration, a great buy.I'd still favour Rooney over this guy. Rooney is a big game player, would be available (possibly) at the same price point and is a lot more versatile than old Zlatan. But I don't see why PSG would be willing to sell at that price. They certainly aren't operating the same financial model that the Glazers are at United. They're both viable options if the price is right but I agree with Alex that £40 million would be closer to the real price.
BlueLion. 21,491
He wouldn't cost £40+ million ROFLMAO.I'm including wages there, so go and ROFLMAO somewhere else, n00b.

The only place to be 11,313
Ibra will probably cost a fortune though.I can't see why PSG would let him go on the cheap so it's a lot of money for a player who will be 32 halfway through the season. Plus this would be his last big contract in all likelihood and there are clubs out there willing to pay him the big money - his current club being one of them. Sounds like bad business. The only place to be 11,313
If we are going this route. May as well use that money add ten mil and Fernando and go get cavani.Exactly. Cavani has re-sale value, is five years younger and if we could ship Torres the other way then that's a massive saving that probably offsets the extra cost in the initial purchase. Pacquiao 1,834
Ibra is better than Cavani but Cavani is of course younger, but by the time Ibra gives us 2-3 seasons Lukaku could be a top class striker by then! I just want us to sign a top striker!!! i hope we get one!!! #squeakybumtime
haranr 485
Zlatan is the best striker in the world for me! I have always said that he really seems like a Chelsea player. He's aggression and everything! I really want him in Chelsea!
SamuelCFC 75
Mourinho wants Ibrahimovic to Chelsea. http://www.mundodeportivo.com/20130605/futbol/internacional/chelsea-mourinho-zlatan-ibrahimovic-fichaje_54375363169.html I would be a big fan of this move, defo one of the greatest strikers in the world and he seems to win everything wherever he goes. Jose's type of player too, very similar to Drogba in terms of size and strength. "Zlatan is the perfect age for Lukaku's development" - Redditor. We could even sell Torres to even up the wage bill. Pizy 18,980
I think we'd walk the league with Ibra.I disagree with people saying it would be bad business. You can think of him as a 2 season rental. If we can sell Torres, we can recall Lukaku and have him learn and play with one of the all time greats in Ibra for a season or two and then be ready. While I'd love Cavani, he'd be here for 5+ years and Lukaku would never be 1st choice, whereas Ibra is nearing the end of his career. termninja 5,290
I think the plan is to get Cavani. If that fails, option number 2 is to bring Ibra while Lukaku grinds out another loan, but now with a bigger and more respected squad status then he had it at WBA recently. Time will tell. As I said in my previous post, Ibra would benefit us a lot right away while he would leave space for Lukaku in the not so distant future. Besides, I'm 100% Ibra would like a move to PL as he is considered one of the best strikers yet he hasn't played in it.
