Wise 45
Surprised there hasn't appeared to be any interest from us towards him, but im glad also. The thought of him in a Chelsea shirt makes me shudder. It does make you wonder about some Chelsea fans willing to see him in blue. He hates Chelsea and we hate him. Shak 22
RvP looks to be staying at Arsenal. I don't see Fergie paying 200k a week for a 29 yr old injury prone striker, regardless of how much talent he has.
TorontoChelsea 4,064
RvP looks to be staying at Arsenal. I don't see Fergie paying 200k a week for a 29 yr old injury prone striker, regardless of how much talent he has.The injury-prone label is a little unfair. He's played 8 seasons with Arsenal and has played at least 31 matches in 6 of them. He's had some injury problems, but he's hardly Owen Hargraves. capriccioso 2,545
Aside from the fact that he's North London scum, a blue chip striker for competition is the last thing Torres needs right now.

Muzchap 8,966
this judas can stay away from chelsea. How is he a JUDAS FFS - he's a professional footballer with arguably a 'GREAT' talent and he has literally wasted it at Arsenal. What's he got to show his Kids/Grandchildren? Just some DVD's of Arsenal tika-tak football... Think of Ashley Cole - he's built an extension to handle the medals/trophies he's won compared to RVP...Why not put yourself in HIS shoes, before making stupid statements - WOULD YOU want to win medals/trophies? (Please don't answer - rhetorical question)...Honestly, this guy is better than HULK IMHO, proven and about 1/2 the price...
Jype 6,398
this guy is better than HULK IMHO, proven and about 1/2 the price...You do realize there's a logical reason for that? He's on the last year of his contract, 4 years older than Hulk and would demand much higher wages. Also he also has a history with injuries, next thread please! mediator 2,026
3 years older : hulk 25-07-1986, rvp 06-08-1983RVP is epl proven, hulk could be a flop

His talent is unquestionable but i despise the guy, to seeing him celebrate all those goals as an Arsenal player last season ( 3 at our own bloody ground!) and then have him sign for us would make me wonder if anyone at the club actually cares for the fans. (Which i do doubt at times, especially seeing Adebayor sign for Spurs last season)

cfc93 3
Genuinely wouldn't mate. There's other strikers we could sign rather than one hated by the large majority of Chelsea fans. For me there's players you just don't want to see in Chelsea blue regardless of their talent.

(Which i do doubt at times, especially seeing Adebayor sign for Spurs last season)...Well. Some times ago, the Club signed a player who scored all those important goals against us, who was once a rival team's legend, and as a matter of fact, wasn't really loved by Chelsea fans (to say the least). However, the vast majority of fans didn't complain back then, and look at the huge fans-base that he had, and still has, during his career at Chelsea.
