If you speak french(like i do tralalalal canada) and saw hazards interviews on canal + you will be struck instantly by getting a vibe that he is a man of values and his word.

He said he will come the premier league next season. Is this certain? surley if barca or madrid get serious? Well even if they showed interest he has decided the premiere is his next step in development and knows full well he can join either of those teams when he wants later in his career. he is still young and he made very clear in his canal+ interview

The current valuation of 35 million for hazard I believe is to steep for a team that is loaded with wingers already, not to mention they are in debt. However they were linked to gaitain who is a winger strangely enough so perhaps sir alex is in the market for a winger afterall. But nevertheless gaitain could be deployed in the midfield(not that hazard cant either) and seen a perfect ryan giggs replacement(someone who can play wings and midfield). and gaitain is much cheaper

Verdict: Overall id say hazard to united aint gonna happen.

Arsenal---

Arsene wenger a long admirer of hazard, but one thing wenger loves more than a crafty winger with pace is staying true to his economist value. Wenger is a man who has an idealogy that spending over 25 millon on player is not the way to run a club. EVER. Hazard did once say he wanted a club that was in champions league and had french speaking people. This was a few years ago and at the time this was obviously arsenal he was talking about.

Verdict: With the emergence of ox chamberlain and the fact they have UMM walcott and gerivhno and just signed poldoski, tells me that even if hazard still wanted arsenal; it probably won't happen.

Spurs--

In recent weeks he has flirted with the north londoner's but again he may be priced just to much for them. Further to this even in spurs make cl next season they are not consistent qualifiers for this competition. Among that the wage structure at the club won't be appealing considering the money offered by us or city. Hazards flirting with spurs can be rationalized as he was doing what his agent told him to to drive up his price. Spurs may be a good option for him to develop more as he would get playing time there(assuming bale changes positions) but he should seriously know spurs will never seriously contend for champions league or the premier league title. Spurs are not the team that can take themselves to the next level with their limited financial powers, unlike us who can build a great project. They will cap out at a good team but never able to take it to the next level due to restrictions.

Verdict: Its still possible hazard lands here but its ambitious.

He said he wouldn't join a team where he wouldn't be a starter. City have an expensive squad with lots of good players, but they lack a natural winger like hazard. We see this now at the end of the season that when silva goes out of form they have no width or creativity, they do have Johnson but hes rubbish half the time and is a right winger. Mancini has been keen on a winger, but thankfully he has his hearts set on jovetic(whos awesome btw) but still hazard is a great second option and they have no problem paying the fee. Lets just hope they sign another winger or mancini keeps with his strategy of having 23432424242425532423 strikers.

Verdict: if city convince hazard he will get playing time I can see them pulling it off. Id say 50/50 he joins them.

Our lives would be made alot easier if we were in europe(cl obviously not el) next season but its not the end of the world if we dont make cl. -he can see a great attacking future with mata and torres(or whomever) upfront

-we do have a good french speaking enviroment at chelsea

-laurent blanc may be our coach, surley he can lure ligue 1 players to chelsea

-the obvious belgium party(chocolates and all) happening at cfc, mark my words we will be linked to axel witsel soon as well(more reason to join)

-we offer good wage

-torres is good looking

-asides from being friends with belgium players, also forming an attacking bond with lukaku for national team.

-our team has a history of winning trophies over recent years unlike badsenal or flopcity.

-our fanbase if better looking than other fanbases

So however it may be harder to sign players without cl, not all players are pre madonnas and can live 1 year without cl; if we were able to convince them we will invest more and sell them the idea on our project and tell them they will play a key role blah blah blah blah. Hazard is 21, he can only now buy a beer in the U.S.

So reasons why hazard would join our project with or without cl for one season

-he can see a great attacking future with mata and torres(or whomever) upfront

-we do have a good french speaking enviroment at chelsea

-laurent blanc may be our coach, surley he can lure ligue 1 players to chelsea

-the obvious belgium party(chocolates and all) happening at cfc, mark my words we will be linked to axel witsel soon as well(more reason to join)

-we offer good wage

-torres is good looking

-asides from being friends with belgium players, also forming an attacking bond with lukaku for national team.

-our team has a history of winning trophies over recent years unlike badsenal or flopcity.

-our fanbase if better looking than other fanbases

-he can live with 1 year without cl

-if only us or city meet his valuation well @*$)($* he will definetly play when he wants where he wants a chelsea.

-we are beyong desperate for wingers

-his girlfriend/wife(he has a kid) will prefer london to manchester. They always do...

Verdict: if he rules out city(not interested), we may be the only possible option left! for a player of hazards quality how this could happen is beyond me. 40% chance.

Manchester United---

The current valuation of 35 million for hazard I believe is to steep for a team that is loaded with wingers already, not to mention they are in debt. However they were linked to gaitain who is a winger strangely enough so perhaps sir alex is in the market for a winger afterall. But nevertheless gaitain could be deployed in the midfield(not that hazard cant either) and seen a perfect ryan giggs replacement(someone who can play wings and midfield). and gaitain is much cheaper

Verdict: Overall id say hazard to united aint gonna happen.

Don't underestimate United. Whispers of Nani wanting to leave have been prominent in the last few years and Ferguson's been noted of travelling to France to see the kid play. There have been rumours about Gaitan too, but that's as equal as the Hazard rumours.

I'd change the verdict to slightly more favourable than Spurs and us.
